The perfect combination of personalised and professional service filled with attention and humour. The food is great: Ribeye perfectly made, Luxus platter filled with tasty danish specialities. The duck equally good. The wine list is always extensive. You understand why this place has a 300 years history of a place of serving people food and drinks and good experiences. A place we always come back to first evening when in Copenhagen - and very often last evening. This is danish “hygge” in all ways.

It's a genuine wonderful restaurang with loads of history. So cosy! The food is ok but nothing to write home about. The "Leverpostej" is more lika cold "mousse". The other smörrebröd are great. Very boring "vegetarian" smörrebröd with cottage cheese (or keso as its called in sweden), my friend was very dissappointed. But overall pretty tasty classic food. Service ok.

Wholesome mummas cooking! Der Lille Apotek is a delightful wee underground restaurant which scarves good wholesome meals to warm the weary traveler. The roast pork is their specialty. I found it super tasty although a touch dry. They serve plenty of thick gravy and the crackling is perfectly crisp. Theres plenty of potatoes and a bit of sauerkraut. My husband had the stew. It was like pot luck with baked beans and sausages, a bit of pork loin, bacon all popped in a casserole dish. It was not my thing but he enjoyed it. The meals are pretty hardy so not many desserts are served. We decided to try their rhubarb and it was delicious. Tart rhubarb layer with a bit of muesli and nuts, topped with loads of whipped cream. The staff are friendly and happy to share a story about the restaurant and it’s famous patrons. Don’t be fooled how tiny it looks. There are at least 3 rooms hidden away downstairs and it seats close to 100. If you are claustrophobic this might freak you out. Ask for a window seat. Definitely worth a visit!

I did not actually eat there, a single bite. I reserved a table one month in advance and the reservation was at 7.15, lasting for three hours. I got there at 8.30, and I discovered to my great dismay that the kitchen was closed, and my reservation cancelled. I think they should not write you a confirmation email stating that your reservation holds for three hours if after one our it gets cancelled. I had to find a place elsewhere that evening. What makes the whole situation even worse, was the totally dismissive attitude of the waitress, who did not even try to help in any way. Terrible experience.

We had a selection of smørrebrød in this old and charming place right in the city center. I loved the decour and the plates on which the delicious food was served. Prices and portions were also good in comparison to other smørrebrød places in CPH. All the waiters were super nice and detail-oriented, we were never missing anhything. They also have a very good gluten-free beer (and made sure I had delicious gf bread for my smørrebrød). Will definitely come again!

WOW!!! What a beautiful traditional Danish restaurant. We ate here on 2 evenings. The first night we booked and had the taster menu, it was truly wonderful with great choice and nice to sample tradition Danish food. The second night we didn’t book so turned up on the off chance we could get a table. Initially we were told there was no room but as we were leaving the lovely waitress shouted down the street to is that she had a table. Really impressed with her service. We had an amazing evening and would highly recommend this place. It is a little pricy but you get what you pay for- quality food and plenty of it.

Disappointet by the quality at the restaurant. We had Shrimps with Lemon mayonnaise served on white bread, and it was really very soft, white bread, and the shrimps were not particularly tasty. The topping was chervil which I dont fancy a lot. Why not some delicious dill? I didn't much like the Homemade curry herring either, and the herring was very unevenly distributed on the bread - and again the ubiquitous chervil. My daughter had the Fillet of Plaice with remoulade, on rye bread - and chervil - and was not impressed either. You can get much better open sandwiches in Copenhagen for the same price.

The expectations were high. First time we were here was 30 years ago. Luckily nothing has changed because the ambience in this 1700 facilities are so cosy, the typical danish food is perfect and the service great. They should just keep on - change nothing and just keep on serving danish "hygge". We had different courses, and it was all great. But a recommendation is to come really hungry and go for the "luxus plate"....

I visited this restaurant with my family. We wanted to serve fish dishes and the wish came true. Quick service, very fresh fish, herring with a pronounced fish taste. Good variety of wines, we opted for an Italian SB. 3 people, 3 starters, 3 main dishes, water, a bottle of wine, tips=€200. I would recommend this restaurant, clean, nice atmosphere in the historical building, worth visit.

We had a lovely traditional late lunch here , the restaurant was recommended to us a first time visitors to Copenhagen and we wasn’t disappointed. It’s very old traditional restaurant which hasn’t altered much . We opted for the Apoteker plate and ate 7 local dishes all of which we enjoyed . Our waiter was extremely helpful talking us through the menu and giving recommendations. Highly recommend a visit to this quaint restaurant

Entering the restaurant is to take a long step back in time as the interior is so delightfully old-fashioned. This is a genuine pearl of an establishment. We can heartily recommend the classic Danish open-faced sandwiches for lunch, accompanied by pilsner and snaps.

Ate here with friends on a Sunday night . Very busy so would advise booking. Beer was fresh and the Food was great , had the duck while my friends had a stew type meal. The reason it gets a 4 is the waitress was a bit offhand and dismissive but the rest of the staff were very friendly

From 1720 -2022.. Here you will still find the Danish classic open sandwiches and traditional dishes. In Old school decor , with attentive and charming service. For lunch I highly recommend the "fiskefile" battered fish sandwish with shrimps. It's the perfect introduction to the Danish cuisine for any newbies and firstimers. Wash it down with a cold beer and a "Snaps" 40 % Vol. + if you're feeling brave.

We ordered two starters, one of halibut (hellefisk) and other of salmon tartar (laksetatar). And only one main course: half chicken roasted (1/2 kylling), it was a big portion more than enough for two people. All very good. To drink we ordered 2 glasses of white wine, that was a Chardonnay, but we noticed a strange smell / taste, and asked for another kind of wine. Then the kind waiter (Alexander) served us a very good Riesling. We were not charged for the first wine. For dessert we shared rabarbertrifli (a glass of sour rhubarb jam with whipped cream). We enjoyed a fabulous meal at this quaint and historical restaurant. My husband found some delicious vegetarian options and I enjoyed the roasted pork dish. The appetizer and dessert was amazing as well. The atmosphere and service was wonderful. I recommend making an effort to eat here if you travel to Copenhagen.
