We were advised by a local to just walk in the direction of the Latin Quarter, and choose a restaurant on the canal from the menu. It was fairly early, around 6:30 PM, and there weren't too many people in the restaurants at that point. When we came to ziggy, we could see it was almost full inside. We were... More

It's the in place for locals living in Trøjborg (Aarhus). Lots of people go there to get a coffee or a beer and to meet friends. The food is also great. If you want to eat there, it's a good idea to reserve a place, as it's a very popular place.

We sat outside along the 'river' and enjoyed the view and the sun. Surprisingly the waiter required payment upfront when ordering (remark I am 50+ my friends as well and none of us looks like people running away from the bill). Anyway I paid and we got the ordered plates which turned out to be plain average food. The service... More

We found Cafe Ziggy by chance while walking around the town. The service was top notch and servers really helpful as we got settled in town on places to go see and where to avoid. The food was excellent and the bar tender's knowledge of wine superior.

If you are going by car around Aarhus and looking for some nice lunch (not overpriced), then Cafe Ziggy is a good suggestion. Unlike the cafes in mid-town where you hardly can find parking, Ziggy is situated in a neighborhood with plenty of free parking spaces - especially on week days. Try the Ziggy Burger!

I've been here both for just a coffe, drinks and for food. I used to have their breakfast buffé once in a while. The burgers are good, their drinks are alright (not enough sour in their whiskey sour), the breakfast cheap and good. We usually sit outside on the sidewalk. I like it. Try to come outside their rush hours... More

Nice place, good selection of craft beer. The ziggy burger is great, and the nachos my wife had was excellent and quantity wise was enough for both of us, if I hadn't already ordered the burger! Booking is possible for parties of at least four, and is recommended in that case due to limited seating and the popularity of the... More

Right on the water and very popular with the younger set, this place won't wow you with its service, food, or drinks. The drinks seemed pre-mixed and just okay, well presented but not that tasty. Service was rather lacklustre overall. The waitstaff were friendly enough, but low staff to customer ratio means they rush around a lot and you wave... More

Came on a really sunny day, was seated outside as was too busy for inside, not a bad thing at all. It took over 30 mins for my order to be taken and another for the food to come. The waitresses were really lovely but need more staff Good experience all together though
