Disgusting! Iv been dining at La Bottega for years and have always loved and recommended it.. However their new Trapo restaurant is nothing like the old La Bottega. The restaurant lack a cosy atmosphere and the once incredible Carbonara is now a disqusting mix of...overcooked pasta, chuncky pieces of fatty, chewy meat and a lingering taste of sweet creme (think cake creme) although it was made clear to the staff there was no initiative to better the experience and I left paying full price .. therefore I can only deduce that the service of La Bottega is also something of the past. Just go somewhere else.More

Too pricey, it took very long and my pizza was burnt.. very disappointing. PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY CHARGE 15 KRONAS PER PERSON IF YOU WANT TO SPLIT THE BILL. There Are so many better places to eat, dont waste your money here!

Stepping into this small restaurant is like stepping into a genuine piece of Italy, with a fantastic delicatesse shop, and a restaurant with fantastic pizza, really worth coming here to eat.

La Bottega is the BEST place to get your lunch in Aalborg. I get the Salmon Sandwich every time. Last time I asked my girlfriend; How do they make money of this sandwich, when it's so stuffed with this amount of quality products. I believe...this says enough.More

Family of 5 went for dinner and sat inside courtyard. Solid service and typical Italian food. Did not disappoint. Price reasonable for DK. Would recommend.

I have loved the food at La Botegga but this past Friday night when I went in I was a solo traveler. When I asked for a table for one, which there were two small tables available, I was told I could not be seated....They did not seat people for 'one'! I then proceeded to stand in line at the counter with people picking up food and was told if I wanted 'carry out' it would be at least 30 minutes! If I had had a table, I could have sat down and had a glass of wine and politely waited. Disappointed, and frustrated from being pushed and shoved by people trying to pay and get their food, I left. I did come back, though, as my appetite was focused on pasta that night and they do have excellent food. When I returned 20 minutes later, in the pouring rain, I saw the two tables still vacant that I was denied. I politely asked again if I may sit down and, again, was told 'no'! I did place an order, wait 30 minutes, and then ultimately received my food. When I asked for cutlerly, I was then told they didn't have any! Imagine a restaurant that serves take-away food and no cutlery. La Bottega, you do have wonderful food so keep doing what you do. However, your customer service needs a lot of improvement so please invest in your customer service folks as much as you do in your food. It really, really matters!More

We were actually about to go to La Locanda, but when looking at the menu by the door we were shown other set of menus ad an alternative. At took a little while for us to realize that we were in a different restaurant altogether,...by the same owner though. There was no reason for disappointment. The pizzas we had (prosciutto and porchetta) were absolutely delicious and we definately got our moneys worth (135kr).More

We stopped by to get some Italian deli for light lunch, as my partner said this place is the business. She was right as usual, huge selection of salami all home made, and fine choice of panini. Perfect for lunch. The eat in price was...99 DKK, takeaway price 49. So we got two slices to take home. The waitress asked how big slice we want, bit strange question, but we indicated where she should cut, and then proceed to wight our purchase. Then the surprise 😲, half a kilo at total price of 75 Dlkk. So we added 2 beer salami sticks, nicely spicy at 20.00 DKK. Had delicious meal for two under 💯. Place has limited seating outsid but for takeaway deli is hard to beat. Ample seating inside though. Now for the confusing bit. When I got to write my review, the place that popped up was located on C W Obels Plas. Looking at the business card I picked up, I get the picture. It says LA Locanda and LA Bottega. Obviously same owner, just two totally different joints. So if you want to find the Deli, you need to go around the corner from the square.More

Very good ravioli, meat platter and wine, with fresh ingredients, run by Italian family. Very friendly staff, amazing home made bread and pesto sauce. Very recommended!

This place does not look like much from the street - hidden away in an ally. It is however a very cozy place with a mixed butcher/sandwich bar/café environment. Italian delicatees at its best.
