Nice old stile restaurant with good Food and service. Interior from " the old days". We had a delicious 5 course dinner. Not really a impressiv wine list, but good enough to find matching wines. The wine suggestion to the menue was not optimal.

At a kind of anniversary we've got a four course dinner: Foies Gras, Lamb, Cheese and Creme Brulee with very suitable wines. It wasn't cheap but every Kroner worth. It wasn't the first time we were there and it certainly will not be the last. And the service: Discreet and efficient.

Had the traditional lunch of smorrebord and French onion soup. The soup was yummy. The sandwich was delicious. But, I like spicy flavors. I would definitely return and try other meals.

We went to Odense on Sunday, just as a stop over from Hamburg to Copenhagen. We did not have many options since most of the shops and restaurants are closed. The place was really nice. I never been to a traditional Danish house, but I assume the restaurant still have that traditional Danish house feeling?! So, I really like the... More

My wife was enchanted. She had the braised mallard, which in her estimation was great. I had beer-simmered beef valiant, and I found it tasteful, but not all the easy to chew. My mistake, I guess, as I hardly knew what I ordered and had expected something else. The service was fine, the surroundings picturesque; all in all a pleasant... More

My local friend recommends this restaurant for dinner, and also city hotel of Odense recommend it. So I visited it even I was alone, and dinner was very nice. Inside of restaurant you can find a lot of old decorations from more than 300 years history. I was not so hungry but I enjoyed nice breads with nice butter. Also... More

This place is wonderful. Fell in love with the building and ambiance just walking in the door. Building has been around since 1600's but seems well cared for. Just gorgeous. Came in for lunch, From the "warm sandwiches" menu, my wife had the omelette and I had the fried minced beef, which was essentially a hamburger, except the patty was... More

This high end restaurant is housed in a 300 year old inn so the ambiance is excellent. We were seated in the main area (courtyard) but there are many smaller intimate rooms. Our servers were lovely and everyone spoke English. The menu is a bit limited (I've noticed that many menus are like this here - 4 or 5 entrees... More

The first reaction after I asked for a table for one was "NO"... Instead of saying sorry we are fully booked tonight... I even told the manager and he could care less either... If you don't have a reservation don't even dare to show up there specially if you are a solo traveler...
