Excellent gourmet dinner with superb atmosphere and service in cosy and relaxed style (had 6-couses dinner) This restaurant has everything I love: good and surprising food, with a bit of challenge to you taste buds, but nothing weird. Seasonal ingredients. Beautifully served. Relaxed yet styling...atmosphere. Friendly service with a smile and humour. Excellent choice of wines in the wine menu. Extra plusses: pre-dessert and a smaller glasses driver's wine menu. What's not to love?? !! Don't miss it if in Svaneke. I live in the south of France and this place is certainly on level, if not above, my usual go-to gourmet restaurants on the côté d'Azur.More

Underwhelmed

Food is nicely presented in very small portions; however taste does not follow, it’s a bit like a show without much content. I have been at this restaurant twice with several months in between, so it is not just a bad evening - the restaurant...is like that. The wine we had was really good, though. I am seriously underwhelmed, and there will be no third time for me!More

Wonderful food with personal service

My wife’s third visit and my first - will certainly be back many more times! The food was fresh and delicious, with so much attention to detail. The staff were really friendly and attentive, allowing us to take our time over the 4 delicious courses...and accompanying wine menu. Made for a fantastic evening and I could not recommend 1b enough! Busy place means great food or what?

We stod in a line for 30 min. Under the hot 🌞 sun and was is worth it. 👌 yes the fresh shrimps and fish 🐟was delicious 😋. We had the shooting star and the shrimp piled on bread and for the young ones fish...n chip's . So if you ever come to the island of Bornholm go to svaneke and try out this place.More

Extraordinary high quality

Extraordinary high quality at a fair price. We (2 persons) got 4 course menu with accompanying wine menu plus welcome snack with crement d’Alcase. One wine menu was a “reduced wine menu” for the driver. Everything was unusually delicious and the serving very friendly. Fantastic...that this restaurant it is open in November on Bornholm - the restaurant was completely full - well deserved, remember to book. This is not the last time we come here. We gave DKK 2,000 including gratuity.More

Five stars PLUS

Super delicious food, super service and super atmosphere ... we have been here several times and we are looking forward to coming back. Highly recommendable ... don’t forget to make a reservation. It is a small place and you feel so welcome and the staff...is extremely flexible and friendly when it comes to having special wishes. Extremely good value for money.More

Great place

Ambitious owner, creative food, good location, very good value for money. This is a place with very good opportunities to become a restaurant worth anything but a shortcut.
