fun bar but make sure you only pay once for your drinks..... surprising how often contactless seemed to be ‘declined’ (with no physical evidence) and the waitress demanded cash instead...

Amalour Bar is a magic place - the very heart of Hydra any evening! Cool music and Latin/Caribbean vibes. Very nice to sit outside – but nothing beats the feeling when the little dancefloor inside gets filled with happy dancers!!

Ok so here's the good and bad about Amalour: Good - the cocktails were nice and the liquor was generous - the location was central and easy to get to - the music was pretty fantastic and there was a nice crowd Bad - incredibly...crowded and for some reason they shut the doors on a steaming hot night with poor AC so we were dying of sweat and overcrowding - not that many locals were present, this place was populated by mostly French and English tourists, some of whom were obnoxious and had no concept of personal space. Make of this what you may, I'd recommend Amalour as a starting point for your evening, but it was tiresome to have to spend the whole night there.More

Amalour is very cozy and is located at a scenic alley of the Hydra town. It offers a good variety of drinks. We went for a night drink, service was a bit slow but the waitress apologised very kindly. It is a meeting point also...for locals.More

We just went to party. it was heaving and the music was good. Not on the waterfront but that adds to its charm.

Was there with my girl until late night, drinks were really good, prices tourist-like...music was great, DJ got us dancing later that night with oldies but goodies, starting with chill Brazilian music and then 70s rock, 90s, disco, hip hop and wasn't the every day...top100 crappy music! Only bad thing like every Greek place, doors close late at night and you get stuck inside with the smokers (loved the outside as well)...but hey, that's Greece!More

Very happening spot just off the port with a variety of music popular in the states and the UK - top 40 in most cases from 80s to today. The DJ also takes requests. Eclectic crowd and broad selection of liquor. We closed the place...down! Highly recommend if you are looking for a bit of nightlife during your stay. LAST NOTE: CASH ONLYMore

Drinks and music before or after dinner. Often with a small party inside at late hours until the morning :-) the owner is a great guy as well!

We enjoyed ourselves here for two nights having drinks ( highly recommend their unique take on the Aperol spritz) and music. Seems like more of a locals spot because it is not in the waterfront. The service isn't overly warm and friendly... But efficient nonetheless....I have to highly recommend the new restaurant across the way that just opened across the way by the same owner... Manna. Amazing food... Don't miss it.More

By day, this is just a bar. By night, it transforms into a disco. A very small disco compare to the discos city dwellers like myself are accustomed to, but a good disco with a great atmosphere. Staff seem friendly. Nice selection of music chosen...by the DJ. Not sure what time they close, but I left at 4:30am and there were no signs of the bar closing up.More
