It is hard to review the food, since we could not enjoy it due to so many flies landing on our plates... I guess this can happen in any restaurant. Only that, in this case it seemed that the restaurant has done nothing to prevent the flies from invading our plates (e.g. there were no bottles with water and sugar... More

To be fair, the only reason I am rating this restaurant and experience poor is because of the service I received. And my review is focused only on the waitress we had and her service. We were a party of five and allocated to a table towards the end. We waited around 15 mins for her to take our order... More

In our experience, this is by far the best tavern in the area of Hydra port! Delicious Greek dishes, lovely setting, prompt and professional staff. You should stop by earlier during the day to book a table for dinner, as it fills up quite quickly and for the whole night.

To Paradosiako is exactly that what the word indicates, it is "traditional". This means that this place is one of the few sites where you can enjoy real fresh Greek food as the Greek used and still use to eat. My wife and I--from Israel--met Matina and her family years ago and we have become sort of a part of... More

The best choice in Hydra! It's located near the port. Nice service with tasty food and big portions. Also it has average prices (the island is expensive)

To Paradosiako is exactly what it says, it is "traditional". This means that this place is one of the few instances where you can get real Greek food. Years ago, my wife and I--from Israel--met Matina and her family of Takis, the cook, Elia and Christina their daughters and Jannis, all in the restaurant business ans we fell in love... More

Stopped for lunch and truly surprised how good the dishes were especially the fish roe salad and the fried muscles.

The restaurant is situated in what is probably the busiest street in Hydra town but is charming and characteristic. The menu is filled with mediterranean and greek dishes:everything I've eaten it revealed very tasty and flavorful, expecially a very well made tabbouleh and a delicious shrimps souvlaki..As regards the bill, it proved very affordable.

Wandering the charming streets of Hydra, it was tempting to go with a restaurant along the harbor for ambience. But the food choices left something to be desired. Opting to stroll more of the back streets, we settled in on this little restaurant. I thought it was more of a bar, but was mistaken. We had a great meal sitting... More
