Limited menu choice. (No formal menu; just verbally advised what is being offered today). Husband and wife team with one waiter assisting, yet service reasonably prompt. Home-style cooking served rustic style, yet surprisingly tasty. Wine (made by the owner) served by the carafe. Large groups...accommodated - whilst we lunched a group of 40 Dutch tourists arrived an were fed expeditiously. Free wifi available on request, but poor reception (poor bandwith/connection problems seems to apply throughout the town).More

Very nice hosts. Ask for organic olive oil from their own mount of olives. Try their freshly pressed orange juice. Lovely hospitality for a reasonable price.

Me and my family stayed in this Tavena both for eating and sleeping. After a long tript, arriving by ship from Italy to Patras recommend you stop one or maximum two nights at this restaurant located in the heart of the old Corinth, away from...the chaos of everyday life. The cleanliness and courtesy are the masters. The food is excellent and the products are organic and the owners speak very good English and also they're doing with the Italian. Do not miss the archaeological site at your doorstep and a breathtaking visit to the isthmus of Corinth. A warm greeting to all of the tavern Tassos, including two cute grandparents. Tridello's family. Gianluca, Erminia, Anna e RoccoMore

The tavern is on the way to the ancient Korinth archeological site. We had a lovely late lunch there, especially souvlaki was really, really tasty. The older man who was serving us was extremely nice and friendly with good English. Strongly recommend!

This is the first tavern we hit when we walked from our hotel to the central square. The website above will take you to: Tassos-rooms.com. It was quiet and unassuming, we weren't sure it was open so we continued on toward the square where there...was a political rally. Being a touristy area, I dreaded being confronted by restaurant staff trying to lure us into their establishments, but the rally prevented that. Everyone was focused on the speaker. We did two complete circuits of the area, and decided to go back to the quiet tavern and ask if they were open. Which they were. The gentleman, who I will assume is the owner, was nice and told us what was available. We had a salad and Musaka. The salad was probably one of the best we had had during our vacation - plenty of tomatoes and more olives than some of the other places.More
