You will love this restaurant if you like Greek food. All the tipical menu, you will only see locals eating in. Very good food and service.

Just finished a fantastic meal at Artemis Taverna in Samos - loved the saganaki, the moussaka great fish soup. How kind of the proprietor to serve us complimentary samian wine AND a delicious dessert. I couldn't finish my huge serve of soup so they were also kind enough to package it up for me to take home and enjoy again... More

At first there was an argument between the owner(?) and a lady that parked her car too close to the restaurant (maybe) I don't know what exactly happened, but there was a lot of yelling and tension in the air. All though when that situation passed, the food was great, prepared by a sweet lady. This restaurant is situated near... More

A very nice greek restaurant with great food! Nice staff serves large portions. Good whines on the menu. Many locals there too. Two taxi drivers recommended this place.

The first time we went to this restaurant which was walking distance from our hotel we had fried zucchini and it was SO good. It was different than we have had it before. Everything else we had there was good and the price was right. It is across the street from a park and so it is a great place... More

Artemis is one of my favourite restaurants of all time and we always make our way here when we come to Kalamaki. Nico, Spyros & Tony always make us feel welcome this is why we love the place. My favourite is the Beef Stifado, everything is reasonably priced too. I do recommend Artemis to anyone thinking of coming to Kalamaki... More

Just round the corner from the main waterside tourist-trap restaurants, but still in the town. Overlooking the sea, but also overlooking a busy road. It's not scenic, it's not fancy, but the food is reliably good (the octopus in wine vinegar is delicious), and on Saturday night it appears to be where Samos families eat out (which might, if you're... This taverna seems popular with locals and the swing park is across the road. We had a good meal here, the veal in tomato sauce was very tasty. We later noticed a local christening party going on here. We like to eat where the locals eat and would go again. We had our choice of tables and as usual went... More

Me and my italian friend we visited this family run taverna and we ate grilled squids and octopus cooked in vinaigrette sauce and many other things without spending lots of money. Artemis is near the old port of Vathi town and is known among locals for the cleanliness and its delicious meals. Its menu includes a wide variety of dishes... More

We visited this restaurant one evening as it was quite close to our accommodation. Food was just ok and the restaurant lacked atmosphere. The staff weren't particularly friendly and we felt that they just wanted to serve our meal and get the table cleared for the next customer. On a scale of 1-10 we would give it a rating of... More
