Garcon Brasserie is located on the beautiful seafront in Thessaloniki. Stop there on your way to the White Tower or the City Sightseeing Bus, and enjoy their spectacular brunch. I highly recommend the omelette with bacon and cheese, served with a fresh green salad and Greek rolls from the oven. Order from a wide choice of drinks: a selection of excellent Greek coffees, hot or iced, or maybe a chilled Prosecco or a Fix alcohol-free beer. Sit and watch the sparkling Aegean, and enjoy the moment. The staff, although very sweet, could do with a bit more training and a few English lessons. Nonetheless, highly recommended.

I was with my friend for a dinner. The table was on the first floor with very nice sea view. All staff is very friendly and polite, food was exvellent and the music was great- girl singing famous hits and playing the piano. Very relaxing and nice evening atmosphere which with the glass of wine make night on the seaside perfect!

GARCON BRASSERIE is situated right on the beachfront at Nikis Avenue (Victory’s Avenue) with marvelous views on Thermaikos Gulf and on coastline walking corridors.
We have ordered Freddo Cappucino here (served with cake, cookies and a rather big bottle of water) and we have enjoyed it, although the price was a bit expensive. The ambiance of Garcon Brasserie resembles a Pariser Bistro, is very nice and the service very fast and very good.
It is worth it to sit down, drink, eat and enjoy, while observing the beautiful sea and the people crowds going through unstoppable in Nikis Avenue.

4 Dishes / 2 bottles of wine and a salad at a total of 150 euros. It is not cheap, but it's not expensive either, especially for the location. There was also the piano and the singer so you have to have that in mind ( saturday night). You have to know that when you get there you will eat quality food at an above average price. Everything we ordered arrived on time and was delicious on an extraordinary level. Furthermore, we ordered a sea fish. The chef came with the dish and cleaned the fish of all the thorns. When the fish was free of thorns, he returned it nearly entirely to the plate. It was a pleasure to eat fish like that, and the dish, in general, was delicious - both the fish and the toppings.

Our experience at the store was quite annoying! Although the waiter accompanied us to the balcony which is outside informed us that we are not allowed to smoke! The prices are overly outrageous as the menu is too small and the variety is small. The waiters with the exception of one child were aggressive when we ordered and asked for something which we did not know if there was or not and the waitress replied: We don't serve "what we asked for" but "two other options that are alternative". When he picked up our orders, he looked weird when we only had two meals. The food despite the poor service was pretty good but I would suggest you take whatever you want for the house.

The service was good, the staff attentive and friendly.
I would never eat here again, we ordered a Caesar salad and a rocket and artichoke salad, among other things, with the request that the Caesar salad be without bacon! What arrived was a Caesar salad with bacon and a rocket and artichoke salad without bacon!

The staff were rude. The table was dirty, the glasses were so filthy they stuck to the placemat. The food can best be described as overcooked and oversalted, when i pointed all this out to the staff they became defensive. The whole experience cost me fifty euro. As i say, you were warned

The store is amazing…. We came for breakfast…. We had a sweet bougatsa, a Thessaloniki pastry and a coffee, which were so tasty, fresh and smelled so good…. Also, it is welcoming and warm environment…. We were pleased with both the food and the kind staff!!!

At first, we walked past this restaurant because we didn’t see anyone there. We went and had drinks at a different restaurant and when we walked past it the second time, there still weren’t many people but the host was very welcoming. They offered us a table upstairs. Great views of the harbor. The drinks were excellent. Great wine selection too. We ordered few dishes and all were excellent. They had vegetarian options.
All of us enjoyed the food and drinks and the server was very attentive. Not sure why this restaurant isn’t always full.
Best food in Thessaloniki!

It's a little mixed up. The welcome shows the usual Greek friendliness, the food is ok, but do not stand out, the finish then not acceptable. To pay by card you have to walk through the restaurant to pay at some counter then at a terminal. Mobile solutions obviously haven't come around a yet. On leaving, there was no more hospitality, one was ignored, let alone politely bid farewell. The whole thing is too much geared to mass buoyancy.The service was ok, but not anymore. The food was fine, but the quality of the meat(strak) is not reasonable to the price.

Right on the promenade and we visited twice during our short break. A!ways busy and good place to watch the world go by.
Varied menu with well prepared food.
Service was ok but noticed it was better when you ordered a bottle of wine and food.

Lovely setting (as has every of the many restaurants on the front) but the food was very poor. The main course arrived and the waiter disappeared (a shift change it seems). Our food (a burger and a chicken dish) were lukewarm at best and there was no one to tell. We made the best of it. We complained at the end and the person identified as the manager put his hand to his heart and said he was sorry. No offer to do anything to rectify the problem. I told him we had been in the town for seven nights and this was the only bad meal we had, this generated more hand on heart.
We would suggest, fine for a drink (if you don’t mind waiting) but maybe go elsewhere for food. There are loads of better places.

We arrived in Thessaloniki on Easter Sunday and were concerned about finding an open restaurant. We were also hoping to have some typical Greek Easter food. So in the afternoon we went for a walk along the Promenade and found Garcon. Not only were they open for dinner, but they had a special menu for Easter. Exactly what we had hoped to find! We made a dinner reservation and enjoyed an excellent meal. We each ordered one of the 2 specials: I had the roasted lamb with greens and my husband had the grilled goat with roasted potatoes. They were both delicious! We were so happy to have found this restaurant.
