The beach is now municipal and public so bring your own chairs and umbrellas if you want to be close to the sea. The restaurant only has sun beds in its garden and not by the sea and very few have proper shade. Nice that they offer a bottle of water when using their sunbed.

I went to the Riviera a few times every summer. Very good and big beach, nice beach bar and nice food. But this year something happened, and they wiped out all the umbrellas from the beach. The umbrellas of the store were limited to the back and away from the sea. You can hardly find sunbeds with umbrellas, while you can't actually go with a family, since you won't have visual contact with the children if they want to crawl on the edge of the sea with the kids I don't know who's to blame, but the owners of the store and the municipality that could rent most of the beach are also losers. Decently priced, good service, and conveniently located. Quite a nice beach. Would recommend for an easy beach visit, although the final stretch of road there isn't great.

Ok where shall I start, beautiful beach location, stunning but its all part of the ploy to lure you in. Your park outside of this remote, very remote beach bar. All looks nice. The music cranks up once you are settled on your comfy beach loungers. This is when the party starts on a Daily!!! Basis. Your car WILL get broken into normally by a B class silver mercedes who make a quick getaway once they steal whats in your car. The music drowns out the car alarm! Coincidence I think not. Manager so not bothered. Once you call the police you get a report from the local station. You have been warned.

An amazing place to spend a day under the sun!

We had it recommended by a Thessaloniki local as a cool place to get out of the city buzz, and so we did – we spent an afternoon under a parasol, over an ouzo (or two). And then we came back. More than once. The beach itself is on a salty sandy cape that closes the Thessaloniki bay opposite from the Vardar delta. It has a wonderful feature of always having one of its “faces” away from the wind. Its waters are not crystal clear as the sandy bottom gets “upset” by the currents, but they are brimming with life, so even a non- patient observer can catch a glimpse of fishing cormorants and even dolphins. Located away from the main Halkidiki tourist routes, backed by arid sandy area and a salty lagoon (with flamingos!), it leaves me with hope that in the coming years it will remain as it is now. But then comes the Bar – with staff that is friendly, charming, quick and well organised; with decent simple food, with beach-mood music in the background. Whatever you order, there comes a little extra with it, in a true Greek-hospitality style.

I want a proper cold beer and please muffle the damn loud music !!

A beach bar serving hot beers is not good! I ask for a cold beer and get a lukewarm beer. What the f ***! And the music from the bar is often too loud! Horrible noise !! Turn down the volume and play quieter music, type: easy listening. When I'm on the beach I want to relax, not be stressed by damned loud music noise! Fix this and Riviera will be a much nicer place to be.
