We were roaming the old city area near the market looking for a lunch venue and found this place. Situated on a covered corner with inside and outside tables, it looked inviting and very Greek...white and blue colours highlighted by marine memorabilia and paintings were a good start. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to my need for authentic Greek food. After looking through a dog eared menu with faded prices I decide to order off the cuff, stuffed vine leaves, mousaka, retsina (by the litre in a tin mug), garlic potatoes, saganaki octopus etc. All fantastic and accompanied by good bread and olives. No problem to the waiter who then delivered complementary dessert crepes along with our Greek coffee. (which incidentally was from a cafe around the corner and delivered on an alumininium tray by a lovely lady). On saying our goodbyes we were advised there would be music the next day so we promptly booked a table and came back. The second lunch was a good as the first and the musicians and singer were very professional with authentic Greek music. And yes, Zorba was in their repertoire. Pricing was very modest and great value. If you like Greek food and atmosphere this is the place.

This is a really nice location, tucked away in narrow streets with other Tavernas. It is traditional Greek with, when i ate there live Greek music and singing ( Sunday afternoon). The weather was Ok so sat outside with everyone else, service is fast, friendly and efficient. I had 0.5 litre of white wine, water, greek salad and grilled Octopus, the Octopus was so good I had another one! As far as I could tell everyone else sat at tables were local Greeks - always a good sign. Big range of dishes to pick from if you want. The bill was E30 for one.

Our favourite place to eat in Thessaloniki. We've tried the Mousaka, Pastisio, Souflaki, Greek Salad and two types of dessert - portokalopia & halva. Everything was fresh, tasty and well-cooked. The service was fast and good. Nice atmosphere and cool staff. We really appreciated that they are good humans, too - in two different days we witnessed them offering a meal to people in need. Support the bussiness that also supports the community. Strongly recommend it!

Thursday noon for 4 people. We ordered 3 servings of fried kalamari was very nice. The fried potatoes were not eaten were raw. We ordered and a serving of juvetsi with beef had absolutely no taste and the meat hard. The salad and appetizers are moderate. The price we paid was definitely overpriced for what we ate. It ⁇ won't be in our future preferences.

To Dixti was a place I found and discovered at the last minute. It was very enjoyable. Fast service and food was delicious. It was very nice to serve fish products to our heart's content, adding a Greek cuisine interpretation to Turkish Appetizers. The music is amazing, you can listen to common songs. Tavern atmosphere. I'm sure summer is even more enjoyable. I would also like to thank the waiters for their kind behavior. Go, experience it, have fun, bon appetit.

Only bad experience in Thessaloniki, but what a bad experience... Fortunately a waitress was pleasant, that avoids zero points, the male waiter was execrable, huffs and rolls his eyes because he doesn't understand what we're asking him, we're asking for a steak , he responds “pork or beef? » well ok... we say beef and we ask for it rare because it doesn't require cooking, it arrived well cooked obviously... and with lemon wedges for sauce. When the waitress comes to see if everything is okay she is called back by her colleague who explains something to her while looking me in the eyes and slapping his arms in the air, in short, we felt bad from the beginning to the end. end and unfortunately the food was so bad that it didn't address the service issue… I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

TO DIXTY(ΔΙΧΤΥ) is situated a stone’s throw from Aristotelous Street and almost opposite the Kapani Market (close to Egnatia Street). TO DIXTY is a traditional Voliotiko Tsipouradiko (resembles the Volos Taverns where mainly Tsipouro is served) but I think this is rather a traditional tavern-restaurant with mainly vegetarian and seafood. I have ordered gavros (fried small fish) and chorta (greens), I have drunk Beer and the food was tasteful, the prices reasonable and therefore I was quite satisfied. The ambiance was typical for a Greek tavern and sometimes they have live music playing. The service was very good (quick and efficient). I enjoyed my dinner there and it is a good alternative if you are near Kapani Market / Aristotelous Square in the Center.

Im not sure why, but this guys added to my order exrta 3eur (it is not a lot, but is still money) on what I had not even ordered. I dont understand Greek and they knew that.. then waiter forgot what Im ordered (or not? Is it hard to remember when you have only three tables with guests?) Finally, I was not able to pay by card (I warned a waiter before) and was forced to go inside office to pay my bill… food and drink are the same as everywhere, so it is up to you to visit this place, but I wont.

It needs urgent renovation. Unfortunate at first sight, it's left in the '50s. They made us sit opposite the fan and the master of the reception slowly turned him all over him and stood in front of him resulting not to catch us at all. Online prices are different than in the catalogue. And the list is miserable, dirty and sticky and of course more expensive prices. I asked the meals from what they were accompanied and got no answer. Small amounts of food. We ordered chicken soup and chicken soup and it was exactly the same. The bill has been coming to us for centuries. This shop is a tourist trap. They just want your money and nothing else.

In the center of the city. Excellent, but still quiet, pedestrian area. The welcoming atmosphere, pleasant traditional music, not intrusive. Not excessively touristy, frequented by locals. Excellent fried fish and vegetables. I tried the linguine with ragù, which can be said to be made in Italy. Prices more than fair. Highly recommended.

So I'm writing this review on behalf of me and my girlfriend Eugenia. We found ourselves in this area without knowing which store to choose. While we were walking, a very kind gentleman, Mr. Manolis, called out to us. With his smile and honesty he led us to the shop. He was extremely helpful since everyone came to know the store because of him. From where it was empty it was suddenly filled. The food was nice.

Nice staff, good food, very good price/experience ratio. Not so easy to reach from Parga but it was worth it. Don't ask them about anything except fish and, with luck, 1-2 types of wine
