It was lovely to sit outside under the lemon trees. A very pleasant setting. The meal was good - we shared a typical local platter of meats, cheese and olives and enjoyed a salad with this. More expensive than some of the local restaurants.
So I was expecting a good standard from this restaurant unfortunately that wasn’t the case ,my octopus was over cooked and chewy the salad was yummy however I could have eaten it on my own as it was not big enough for two .
In...all not a very well cooked meal for the price .
I didn’t mind paying good money for good food but this was good money for under average food !More
Out as a couple for dinner, decided to try the Lemon Garden, Big Mistake..... picked a table for 2 next to the bar, sat in the dimly light area and waited to be acknowledged by waiting staff, sat for over 20 mins, totally ignored, even...though we had said good evening to the barman on the way in!!!! Not acceptable
We got up and left and went to another restaurant 10 feet away The Odyssey- who greeted us at the door and who proceeded to serve us a beautiful meal all whilst dealing with a packed restaurant. Spent over €60 and will definitely return.More
Im a vegetarian and dont expect alot of consideration given to vege food when eating out abroad. I have been twice to The Lemon Garden and have been served two delicious and quite different vege meals.
The stuffed peppers were crisp, sweet and full of...feta, no rice or soggy pepper in sight. I also had the veg moussaka and again was not dissapointed. It was rich with vegetables but using greek yoghurt to replace the usual sauce. I shared a pudding, one an orange semolina halva and the other a hot chocolate pie.
Sweet, soft and totally delicious.
I think this restaurant is a little Oasis in a town that seems to otherwise cater to overfed holiday makers.
I’m shocked to see negative reviews on this.
After few experiences we thought we couldn’t trust trip advisor here in Corfu since literally everything has 4.5 or more rating. We tried lemon garden just by chance.
After two weeks in Acharavi I can say this...is the best place we found here, we came back 3 times during our stay and both the food and the drinks were amazing.
To the people saying it’s overpriced: it’s not even nearly as expensive as Milan or London, and it’s not a taverna, is a much nicer place.
We had what we consider a very nice dinner with two gin tonics (very well done), local Corfù olives (the only place where we actually found the small typical black Corfu olives), a mixed barbecue (huge and cooked to perfection), beer and water and we spent 52€ for two people.
Also, the garden is lovely. Zero mosquitoes every time we went there.More
We visited the Lemon Garden for a few drinks and to let our toddler have a play in the garden. The setting and atmosphere were both excellent and we were very much wanting to stay to eat. The reason we didn't stay was because of...the amount of mosquitoes biting both of us, which of course is not the restaurant's fault, nor is it any reflection of the quality of the restaurant. The food being served on the tables around us looked utterly delicious. The service was wonderful. I really liked the bohemian feel to the restaurant.More
