Spent a truly unforgettable evening in the chic Villa Rossa restaurant in Parga in mid August. Villa Rossa restaurant, nestled under the shady trees of a quiet hill adjacent to the beach, has one of the best views of the bay in Parga. The restaurant sports elegant decor and furniture and the tables are well spaced out affording diners adequate space and a well earned break from the busy, noisy bay of Parga. In the evening, the restaurant's relaxing lighting creates the perfect atmosphere for eating, drinking and socializing.
The staff were welcoming, extremely friendly, spoke excellent English and were attentive to our needs throughout the evening.
We started our experience with the restaurant's signature cocktails. I chose the 'Stars War Negroni', a refreshing mix of gin, dry vermouth, and bitters. A truly delicious start to the evening!
My choice for first course was a locally sourced country sausage accompanied by a potato puree. The sausage was flavourful and cooked to perfection. The potato puree was rich and creamy without being overly heavy.
For main course, I went with the chicken cutlet with roast potatoes, washed down with a local dark beer. The chicken was tender, juicy and the portion was generous without being overwhelming. The potatoes were quite delicious and were a bit hit with everyone in my group!
Overall, the Villa Rossa restaurant is a great dining experience in a most idyllic setting. I'll definitely be heading back there the next time I'm in beautiful Parga!

Went here to use the sunbeds, ended up coming back 4 days in a row.
Great food, great service, good housewine.
The location is beautiful, in the evening you can eat outside with the most perfect view.
Thank you so much for everything

The view is obviously unbeatable, difficult to find a better location in the region but the food and service have never disappointed me.
It one of the very few restaurants which offer oysters in the country and they were exquisite, the sole was perfectly cooked and served with wonderfully fresh vegetables from their own garden.
We decided to go for the house white wine which I would definitely recommend as it is a very good wine and very reasonably priced for the quality.
Definitely worth going

Thank you Joana for awarding us with your top marks! It is wonderful that you had the opportunity to try the oysters, as you mention they are not always easy to find. So we always tell our oyster foodies 'get them when you can!' The sole is also a big favourite, a very fine taste combined with local Corfu butter that simply adds to the flavour. We are pleased you enjoyed the house wine. We believe you can tell a good restaurant from the house bottle, it is the 'duty' of a good restaurant to have a good house wine and we think the Villa Rossa label is a great selection -and from a winery quite close to Parga that it is possible to visit as a day trip. Maybe next time you are in Parga! All the best.

Splendid location, facing the sea, with an illuminated rock where a small stream flows. Maximum disorganization of the staff, there were ten of us friends and the last person had dinner when the others had already finished for at least twenty minutes, mediocre food, considering the price paid we certainly expected another type of treatment and another quality of ingredients . It's a shame because I place it and it deserves it

The food was fine; the service was bizarre. We are fortunate to be dining out each night of our holiday and we had said that we’d only go for traditional tavernas. However, after a good experience at another local restaurant, we thought we’d give this beach front eatery a try. We waited around 20 minutes for a table, which was nice as it meant we could have an aperitif with a sea view. Then, we were seated without menus for longer than you’d expect and when the waiter took our orders he seemed confused. We asked for a bottle of still water and he said he’d bring us some filtered water instead. It never came! In 30° heat, you do need some hydration 😂 Our food came in a very strange order. We had one starter arrive, then once we’d finished that we had another starter and a main arrive and then when I was halfway through that main, the second main came. In between this, we’d ordered more drinks, but they never came. Once we’d finished eating, nobody collected our plates until we flagged someone down for the bill 15 minutes later. The absent drinks were on our bill, so we had to ask for it to be removed. It honestly seemed like they were really not bothered and didn’t want to serve us. There is a minimum €35 spend per diner on food, which is an odd move. I might come back for cocktails for the view, but I wouldn’t come back for the food in a hurry and certainly not the service.

When we came in they already expessed we need to consume a minimum of 35 euro pp.
That is unfriendly to start with.
Maybe because we were not decently dressed up like most of the people.
We picked up a fresh fish, they grilled and had a good taste.
The view from this place on Parga is great.
After eating fish with a glass of wine we paid a 160 euro bill for 2 adults and a child.
We rated a little lower since the value for money is so so. The food is not better than average Parga restaurant.

The experience at this restaurant was beyond awful! We booked a table at this restaurant solely based on the fabulous reviews and the amazing view but found ourselves extremely unhappy with both the food and service! When pointing out to the waitress that the meat was too dry and the calamari too salty the waitress called over the manager of the restaurant. The chat with the manager was beyond unpleasant he was very aggressive and kept arguing with us telling us that we hadn’t tasted meat before and that they didn’t use salt in their calamari (they tried to make us feel dumb and inexperienced with food since we are a bit younger than their average costumers). The fact that he argued with us for at least 30 minutes trying to prove that he was right was very rude and unpleasant and not service minded at all. The restaurant and manager ended up doing nothing about our complains and in short gave us the most unpleasant experience that we had during all of our visit in Parga. If I were you I would think twice about visiting this restaurant if you want good food for the price you pay!

We enjoyed a fine meal, while taking in Parga's impressive annual August 15 festivities, including a naval reenactment & fireworks. The restaurant & bar offered a relaxing atmosphere that was both elegant & buzzy. The inspired Mediterranean menu was packed with freshness and flavor.
Picking from the special multi-course menu's options, I went with the light Ceviche Tacos (which disappeared in a minute), followed by a substantial, creamy Mushroom Risotto, with a medley of different mushrooms.
As the town celebrated, we weren't in a rush to go anywhere, lingering over each course and conversation, with a view of the bustling port. A relaxing restaurant playlist rolled, as live Greek island music from the port was heard in the distance. Service was friendly (with English the default).
The view from Villa Rosa is magical at sunset, so we made our way back for drinks on subsequent evenings; their fruity "Kiss My Cat" cocktail is one I'll try to recreate back home.

We ate here for dinner during our stay in Parga, having had drinks on the terrace one afternoon. Dinner was a terrific experience, with excellent food, drink and service throughout the evening. Being sat on the terrace looking at the beach, and the sun setting over the castle would have been good, but the food was superb. Fresh fish, well cooked and served by friendly waiters combined to give us a memorable evening. Not cheap, but price matches with a few other places whose food didn't equal this...

Both the Villa Rossa Hotel and restaurant are idyllic located at the end of the beach promenade with a lovely view and cozy atmosphere.
We stayed at the Villa Rossa hotel, so had breakfast at the restaurant every morning. Really like the table service instead of a buffet, which means that the food is freshly prepared. It was delicious but after a week, you get a bit tired of the choices and throughout the week there were several items on the menu that they did not have – maybe due to the situation as there were not that many guests. We missed one or two daily specials that would give some variety. The service was a mixed experience; some of the waiters were attentive, but not all. Had to almost every day ask for more coffee. Again maybe due lack of guests but the waiters were often not present, don’t know if they had other tasks as well.
We also had dinner one evening. That evening there were not many guests and we noticed that most evenings there were not that many guests which are a shame. We had sea bass and the salmon – both dishes really good. It is Greek cuisine with a modern twist, but a bit expensive compared to what you can get at other restaurants in the area. The dinner service was also a bit lacking and not very present (again maybe due to the lack of guests). I would assume and hope it would be a totally different experience with a full vibrant restaurant.

This is both - the best restaurant and the best location, matched with stylish design in Parga. It is always a joy to come here and it is our favourite for fresh fish and seafood. This time we made an exception and decided to have meat which was also excellent. We had a Greek salad and the local mixed mushrooms for starters. We particularly liked the combination of mushrooms mixed with local sour cheese and asparagus. For mains, we had the very tender and juicy rack of lamb and the tasty black pork with leek. We also loved the galaktoboureko cream rolls with ice cream for dessert. We had a pale rose, the name escapes me now, but it was recommended by our waiter who was also very knowledgeable about food and helped us order according to what we felt like eating. A great all-around experience. And last but certainly not least good music We will, undoubtedly, be back!

Villa Restaurant remains our favourite restaurant in the region! Never disappoints always perfect at all levels!
Needless to say any thing about the ideal dream like location, you cannot find my better.
The food is more than delicious, a mix of everything I love , modern Greek while managing to remain traditional with a wonderful presentation and always prime quality products offering a very good value for money.
Very friendly service who never fails to recognise you,
You all made my stay and my birthday very special once again,

Lovely restaurant at the far end of the port in parga. We received a warm welcome and the service was efficient and friendly. The food is slightly more modern European than the traditional Greek taverna’s and as a result is a little more pricey. Still great value though.
We shared and amazing starter of shrimp saganaki. I then had the salmon main and my wife had the seafood risotto. All was cooked perfectly and very tasty .
A great dining experience and can’t wait to return.

The food and the view is great, but for the service there is much to be desired, as soon as you have got the food you can handle yourself, even after a long waiting time (at least 2 beers which I did not obtain ordered) on the dessert menu we had to wait even longer to get ordered...we gave up and asked for the bill... ended up paying at the box office.
PS. as a non-smoker you do not understand why there are no smoking / non-smoking zones. But it's all over the country.

We came on high expectations, given the good reviews on this forum. Unfortunately, starting with the unattentive and disorganised service and continuing to the food, it was overall a disapointment.
None of the dishes except the fresh fish was really special, and the big fish we ve ordered for 6 people came with a tiny portion of side vegetables for only 2 people. Prices are amongst the highest in Parga, only reason could be the sea proximity, otherwise nothing.
