We visited "Perasma" because we booked the tour of the Olive Oil Farm over AirBnB (a tour I can only recommend to everyone who has an interest in food, the tour was very interesting, all questions were well answered, and the olive oil tasting in...the end was fun und illuminating) and after it stayed for lunch/dinner.
The owner, Stelios, was very friendly and welcoming to us, sat down with us to chat about live in Greece, and just in general made us feel welcome. The food was plenty and truly delicious, just as the juice of fresh seasonal fruits (Water melon). Additionally, many of the ingredients and, of course, the olive oil, are grown and made by the owners themselves on their farm.
If you pass by, give this Taverna a go, you will not be disappointed!More
Stopped by en route to Zia - good location, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, everything was tasty and very fresh. The service was quick although our waitress was not very friendly and a little cold.

We thank you for your comment! Thank you for the nice description!
I apologise for my employee!
We decided to stop by Taverna Perasma as it was on our way. However as soon as we arrived we were surprised by how unfriendly the waitress was. No greetings, no eye contact, no smile, no patience regarding the order. As we were not quite...sure about what to choose, we were confronted by a pissed-off face instead of a person willing to help and advise customers. It's a shame, if I were alone, I would have left without eating at all. Eventually, it turned out that the food is tasty and fresh.More
We went there with some friends (we were two couples).
We have ordered:
- 4 starters (we suggest you the sausage with peperoni and the fried cheese with honey)
- 4 main courses: souvalki and octopus
- water, 1/2L of wine and 3 beers
for...a Total of 70€.
Great quality/price ratio and traditional family cousine.

We thank you for your very good comments and your description... We hope next time you will rate us with 5* !!
Whether this is your first visit or like us your fourth or fifth visit to perasma, you will always receive a warm greek welcome from the family that own it.
Don't be put off by the proximity to the road.
The menu on offer is varied...but we always go for the Greek speciality dishes that mama home cooks.
The family are always willing to offer advice on what dishes compliment each other.
The prices are very reasonable and portions are more than ample.
Variety of wines on offer, I tried the medium sweet wine which was delicious.
Toilet facilities are excellent
If you like extra Virginia olive oil to take home, ask the family about their own produce, we can highly recommend it.
As we visit kos every year, we have definitely pencilled in visits to the perasma again to sample mama's food and the warm hospitality we always receive......as in previous years.
Hidden gem...don't miss out!More

During our one week stay we have been there 3 times as it was so delicious and authentic.
While staying in Casa Cook Kos hotel which was amazing and also offers good food, I think tourists need to find that we’ll balance to feel the...“right Greece” apart from the hotel food, especially when people decided to stay only in hotel because of AI - I think that is not the right tourism...
We can really recommend going there and try starters as well the main dishes, all of them was great and the price level is really fair. We will come back that’s for sure.
And do not forget to order the Ouzo :)More
