We decided to visit this place after reading the review from trip advisor. The place is nothing fancy, but then again it's not bad. It is located on the center square of the old town and it is pretty easy to find it. They don't have many tables outside so if you decide to eat there, you should hurry and... More

Right in the middle of the square, along side other eateries. We dined here and had a beautiful meal. Service was attentive and the chef again came out and explained the special on offer. Fresh bread and Greek salad is always a winner with a local special main meal.

This taverna style restaurant is in the centre of Chora, opposite the windmills, and is a very popular place with visitors and locals alike, which is always a good sign. We dined there several times, at night mainly, and also had our Easter Sunday feast there.....the staff are friendly and the menu is varied, with the emphasis on locally grown... More

This taverna in the square of Astipalaia is just fabulous. My daughter and I worked our way through their menu whilst on holiday. All the ingredients are grown on the island, the fish is just wonderful and lobster with spaghetti a must! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, lots of locals eating there (always a good sign ) Very reasonable, service fab. George... More

Went for a week long holiday to Astylapaia and actually ended up having dinner here FIVE out of the seven nights of our trip! We were attracted to the restaurant by the amount of native Greeks dining there which is always a good sign! Every dish we sampled (and we tried many over these nights!) was delicious - from small... Had dinner there in July 2015, the food was really very good. We had a fish dish and the local lamb dish. The lamb especially was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very fast and the prices were surprisiingly good. No wonder it's always full!

One of the best restaurants in Astypalaia: awesome sea food and food in normal prices. The only negative is that the waiters were a bit moody, they must be a little more pleasant...
