Ana oasis right in the heart of Megalochori found by chance at the end of my last day in Santorini. Beautiful local food prepared by a young and brilliant chef. The owner is this charming gentleman who took me into the kitchen and gave me...a taste of the fantastic soup I was to have as my main course. Delicious local bread and local wine I can still taste in my mouth. Sparkling clean with natural plants and flowers everywhere. The restaurant is colorful, relaxing and tastefully decorate - a place to remember.More

If you are looking for a typical greek restaurant in a tiny little village, truly traditional too, then this is your place. Good food and cheap prices!

Absolutely loved this place during our stay in Megalochori. We visited twice for an afternoon bite to eat and a few drinks which were delicious every time. Unlike other places in the square, we didn’t feel “pulled” into the restaurant as is the European thing...to do these days - and I really dislike. After having dinner at a couple of other places in the square which we were disappointed with, we really wish we’d had an evening meal here. The staff are attentive, friendly and were happy to explain the local saints day that was happening while we were there. Admittedly we visited in August 2020 during the pandemic so it was probably quieter than normal. Still, it’s a must visit - you won’t be disappointed!More

Marmita is wonderfully located at the main square of Megalochori village where the cool breeze makes it pleasant to sit for a coffee/tea or lunch and dinner. Recommended to taste the delicious Santorini pasta with aubergines and tomatoes! Above all the hospitality of the owners...makes the place a must!More

Traditional Greek cuisine! Excellent service and very pleasant environment. We had a delicious lunch enjoying the summer breeze! Cheese pie (sfakiani) is a must to try.

We enjoyed sharing a meal here as a family of four. We tried lots of the daily specials. The pork with leek stir fry and the lamb with potatoes were fantastic. The fresh olives and capers served before our meal were full of flavour, a...lovely addition to the meal. The host was attentive and gracious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a home cooked Greek meal.More

We loved this restaurant. Ate there our first night at the recommendation of our hotel. The atmosphere was so cozy and the food delicious. We went for coffee our last day just before leaving.

This place is a hidden gem in Santorini. We had calamari, chicken souvlaki, and lamb with potatoes. The potatoes with the lamb were the best potatoes we’ve ever tasted! Best food we had our entire Greek trip!
