This place has existed for three or four years now, so I'm surprised it's not been reviewed yet. Maybe that's because it's a small mom'n'pop type operation and slightly removed from the main drag, but it really deserves a mention, as the food is great, and reliably so.
Plinthos is up Leof. Naxou Eggaron on the north side of town. I had drunken pork in red wine sauce, with some spanakopita that was fresh out of the oven. Just a great meal. Then the owners wife (?) brought me a free desert of...More
We were staying up the road from this place and thought we would give it a try. Great authentic experience- lots of locals, family run, and tasty food. We tried the gyros pizza, amazing. It's off the beaten track but well worth a try!

We've only had 5 days in wonderful NAXOS but enjoyed two dinners at this "local" eatery. . . off the beaten path. . . at the foot of Grotta hill.
The family and "locals" are most welcoming. The traditional meat dishes are prepared with love...More
