The view from the tavern is wonderful. One of the very very few authentic places. The food was very good. I’d recommend any sea food from the menu. If there’s a line at the entrance you might wanna know it’s worth waiting.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and delicious food! Would recommend and would definitely go again. The beach beside is really nice too, would definitely suggest going for a quick dip then a bite to eat at kikis.

Best meal we had in Mykonos and other islands we went to. You can’t book so be prepared for long wait in high season, 90 mins. Worth it though, especially as rose wine supplied through and chatty crowd. Fairly simple cuisine but excellent. Best octopus...I’ve ever had. Nice views over beach below. Very friendly service.More

This is one of the most beautiful lunch spots you could ever eat. The food was exceptional! A small but very traditionally Greek menu but executed to perfection. Kiki is a legendary host! If you willing to wait for a table he's more than happy...to give you a glass of wine for your troubles. Very friendly staff all round! And the view of a small beach is timeless..More

We were recomanded this place by the hotel manager we were staying at, but told us that there is always a waiting period to get a table at this tavern. We were very lucky when we arrived and got seated right away. The food was...amazing. Nothing fancy, just basic greek cuisine, but finger licking delicious! Definitely worth the wait if you can not find a table right away.More

We visited this legendary beach restaurants and were not left disappointed. Rumour has it everything is cooked on a grill and electricity was only installed a few years ago. It’s a first come first served type establishment and there was already a bit of a...queue forming when we arrived to get a table for two at 1:30pm but were asked to wait 25 mins or so. The boss man though really knows how to look after everyone though, serving all those waiting for tables complimentary wine and he even fetched my pregnant wife a chair from inside. There are a selection of freshly made salads to choose from - we went with artichoke and lentils with feta both of which were delicious and I had the swordfish as a main which was generously proportioned and fantastic value for money. Really simple fresh and fantastic Greek food at its best with a simply stunning view over the “lovers beach”. The menu says they don’t accept credit cards but thankfully in these COVID-19 times they do - we momentarily were resolved to having to offer to do the washing up but it didn’t come to that! Part of the charm is in its rather splendid isolation so do make sure your return transport pre-arranged as we struggled to find a taxi that would pick us up on the way back - thankfully the boss man came to the rescue again and orders us a cab from another firm.More

Even on a Tuesday at the start of September, we found ourselves queuing for a bit at lunchtime, but with the free wine and tranquil views to drink in, it wasn't exactly a hardship. The waiter we had had a bit of personality to him,...which is always fun, and then the food - oh my. One of the top review phrases for this place is 'pork chops' and when you get one, you can see why - they're the size of something that would overturn Fred Flintstone's car, so be sure to go with an appetite. I did have a bit of food envy, as I'd opted for octopus and salad, but they were both so delicious, it didn't really matter. After a short spell on the beach, we found out that our newly broken down hire car wasn't being replaced as expected, so the owner of the tavern happily called up a taxi for us and gave us some more rosé while we waited for it - what a gem. Incidentally, it was around 5pm by then and there was no queue, so if you want a late lunch, that may be a good time to go.More

You can’t book, there is a queue when it opens, you are offered chilled rose whilst you wait , location fantastic with view of small cove and church, food is excellent taverna style. The pork chop was huge and best you will ever have.

Amazing food and very cozy atmosphere! Just be prepared to wait. They don’t do reservations and we waited about 1,5 hours before being seated at a table.

Recommendations do not lie... it’s gorgeous .Welcomed and queued little bit but worth a wait ... look at the salad bar choice of 2 out of 12 salads but large portions . Gentle place to relax everyone’s happy ... no shade on the beach there...take a brolly .More

They start serving at 12, but continue until everyone is fed! We went twice. Once around 3 and then 5, but lots of people were served after us. Arrive, drink the free wine until you're seated and eat!!! Enjoy
