Pounda is fantastic. You can have a good breakfast and also a good dinner. The garden is marvellous and also the cats inside. The waiters are kind even if in the morning there was only a male waiter very rude. The owner is very kind. You can eat a good greek salad and also fave and octopus. I was ill... More

A highly recommended place, especially for the awesome breakfast, situated in the Pounta square after which it is named, and looking quite attractive. We had breakfast there once. Did we make the wrong choice asking only for fresh orange juice and crepes instead of getting a full breakfast as proposed in their catalogue? Maybe. Fact is that we paid a... More

We were told this place was the best on the Island, but were pretty disappointed. The zuccini fritters tasted great but arrived cold & soggy. The octopus was tender but lacked flavour. Rabbit stifado was the most disappointing dish, turning up rather dry & with a sauce which resembled Heinz Tomato soup! The staff were lovely & it was by... More

The food is excellent. There are not many options in the menu, but I guess that's how they can achieve great quality for their dishes. The ambience (garden) is great, and reservations are recommended if you are going there for dinner.

Nice garden and gentle staff but the kitchen is average, good vegetable and the rabbit not bad. Probably best moment is for breakfast

I loved this cute little restaurant with garden and Greek music, and was for the second time ready to feel like at home during breakfast and have a good big take away on top for the beach plus they make amazingly cute coffee cups I was about to buy!! And, set for friendly conversation I get approached by service that... More

We've eaten here on a previous trip to Folegandros, but this time we were so impressed by the family's friendliness and the quality of the cooking that we went twice for dinner and once for breakfast. The main reason for going a second time for dinner was that the (different) specials that we wanted had both sold out, so we... More

After a great night with a lot of Greek wines and tasteful cold dishes in Merkouri wine bar we all wanted a huge breakfast!!! Pounta gives you a lot of choices either salty or sweet choices!!! Must visit!!!

In a peaceful yard and in the sounds of Greek lounge music, we tasted the best breakfast in Chora! Takos, which means home made bread, with tomatoes, local cheese, olives, fried egg, basil and herbs. We also tasted homemade apple pie and spinach pie. The service is always friendly and kind.
