Really fantastic food. Ingredients are locally sourced or even produced by the owners family (olive oil). The service is very friendly, knowledgable and professional.
11 out of 10 points for Petite Fleur!
This is definitely a Greek food 2.0 experience. Just look at this salad, it has the bread crumbles above and looks like a flower, just beneath I have found the most delicious couscous salad eaten in the Mediterranean. Nice particular interior and great customer service....My wife had fish and it was delicious too. Give it a try!!!More
La Petite Fleur has to be one of the best restaurants in Rethymno. The chef has the flavours balanced perfectly in each dish we had. Smoked octopus on fava purée with caramelised onion 🤩 Then fresh sea bass in an ouzo cream sauce that complimented...the fish without overpowering it. Lamb shank was tender served with mash and a deep flavoured gravy. We had the house red, a Syrah and it was excellent for the price. It was €70 for 2 starters, 2 mains, bottle of wine & water. Service was friendly and faultless. Can’t wait to return.More
High end dishes at unpretentious prices with very approachable, friendly service.
Everything we had was excellent: deliciously marinates sardines and slow cooked octopus for starters, lamb slow cooked to perfection, delicious linguini with chicken filet and refreshing chef’s salad (presented as a flower pot :)...) as mains, delightful cheese cake for dessert - everything home made (including the vinegar and the olive oil!).
Stuff was great and prices were really good for what we got in exchange!
Located on the promenade with a relaxing sea view, this little beautifully decorated seaside bistro is a real jewel no-one should miss upon visiting Rethymno. Top notch cuisine, from slow-cooked octopus, salt-cured tuna, fresh sea bass or extra large pieces of Black Angus dry-aged Ribeye...and T-bone steaks, everything was excellent and well presented with many options for vegetarians. Nice Greek wine list. Very friendly service. Very affordable prices. Definitely the best we've had in Rethymno.More
Set on the front of Rethymnon this is a must for you to try. We stopped for lunch and had a mixture of starters then shared a main course. Waitress service attentive. We had mini chicken fajitas, chicken and Greek cheese wrapped in filo pastry,...the best potato wedges ever! All served with there own fresh dip. And a chicken and pesto linguine all washed down with some sangria! Highly recommend all the dishes. It came to €40. The ribs and steak also looked amazing! Cant wait to go back!More
Just called in for a light lunch and picked this one out from the many others ranged in the area by chance. Very good service and ambience and based on salads plus a few extras great food. Like the look of dishes on neighbouring tables...and might go back to check other menu items. Large helpings and very fair price. Complimentary dessert - a common feature here - was a pleasing touch.More
