I've been several times to this place with my friends and we've had the best expirience!!The reasons we prefer it are the quality and the delicious plates, the hospitality of the place, the atmosphere, and the live cretan mousic!!Many local people visit this place every day and the food is really homemade! Don't miss it!!

When I came in this taverna (ταβέρνα) for the first time and ordered, try to order yoghurt with honey and homemade cheese pies, I thought that the woman who worked there (and probably owns the place together with her husband, it's family business), well I thought she would kill me with a miquelett flint-flock kubur, old Greek pistol or something,... Great value for your money, finally not a touristy place, yet in a frequented corner in the city. The service is also really good :) Absolutely recommended!

Plain store. Politeness. Simplicity. Good Cretan raki. Good service, hospitality. It was a convivial evening shared with friends. The owners are very polite. I think that it is the best store of it's category in town.

Located next the church before you enter into the old town, you could miss this little gem. We had a greek meze including meatballs, sausages, tzatsiki, bread, fried potatoes, peppers etc which was amazing and a great value lunch for two at 6 euros. Its a very charismatic place and they often have traditional live music at night which is... More

I choose this place for its beautiful design and location, but thats about all positives about IT. The older lady who served Us must have had a bad day as she never bothered to smile and made Us wait for 30min to come and takę our order. Than she dissappeared into an obscure kitchen and a Young girl served Us.... More

We ate here after reading about it on TA. We came for the music and weren't disappointed in any aspect of our evening! The music was played on lyre and lute with some lovely singing. It was very atmospheric, even though we didn't understand the language. For starters we had zucchni balls (grated zucchini and cheese deep fried in savoury... More
