Great traditional food for honest prices! I shared with my boyfriend a Moussaka (Bechamel was great) in the Cretan way (with zucchini as well) and vegetables stuffed with local cheese and tomato sauce. Moussaka for 8,50 €. I would definetely go back there!

We stopped for lunch in these charming surroundings. The Greek salad was expertly dressed and the moussaka was delicious. We had a small carafe of house wine, which was very nice and excellent value. The service was excellent. All in all, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing lunch.

We called in last night for dinner and were not disappointed, we had to wait 5 mins for a table but that was not a problem. Friendly staff and a good menu, we choose the Cretan salad and vegetables wrapped in pasty for starters sharing the both. Both were great the salad was fresh and flavoursome the vegetable parcels were... More

We visited the restaurant because of the trip advisor's reviews for gluten free options. They have 5-6 gluten free plates (mostly gourmet). The service is good and the prices are very expensive for the food. All plates are about 13-15 euros.

We returned here after a few years and the standard was still very high. Very busy and serving traditional local cuisine and doing it very well. Better to book a table to ensure getting in!

Beautiful restaurant offering first class Greek traditional food, I had rabbit stiff do - it was excellent and my friend had a chicken dish. It is romantic, friendly - highly recommend.

Rabbit stifado was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Good all round will visit again. My wife's chicken was as good as the rabbit. A large portion we ended up with a doggy bag!

We visited here a couple of times last year but went back for more. The restaurant is very quaint - a cross between a tree filled courtyard and an antiques museum. Lots of unusual finds on the walls. Food is great, as are the staff.

This is very cutely located behind an old wall with some original features (lion head and a well). We enjoyed a bottle of the local house wine (which was much better and cheaper than the glass of wine we had in a near by bar!) costing 10 euro. The Greek salad was so good and all the food we ate... The restaurant is on the site where once stood a Venetian building which was linked to the residence on the south side through a doorway. It is believed that where the covered dining area stands was once a large storeroom and animal stable. The dining courtyard was indeed a courtyard and animal feeding area. In 2003 the chef and owner Harris Pavlakis decided to open the restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional local and greek dishes with local products and provides a friendly and romantic atmosphere. Our restaurant is certificated for Cretan Cuisine from The Greek Academy Of Taste and has won 2 gold medals one in the 9th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking and the other in the 6th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking.
