We booked for an evening meal and loved the atmospheric courtyard setting. However the meal was a disappointment, one of the poorest, we'd had in our stay. We asked specifically if our dishes came with vegetables and were told yes. However there were so few, just a two or three chunks of potato, carrot and zuccini, it was rather nouvelle... More

We stumbled upon this place quite fortuitously while searching for another restaurant that was recommended on an online blog and were attracted by the serene and beautifully restored courtyard and decided to give it a go and were pleasantly surprised. Although we only had a light lunch, we were impressed by the thought and care that had gone into the... More

I went there with my wife and we were a little disappointed by it, prices were pretty high and the food quality not incredible the meat we had as starter was fat but the moussaka was awesome. The desert we had (cheesecake) was good but not much.

This restaurant is a little bit more refined than most of the retaurants in the neighborhood. On the inside it looks very nice and also the tables in the street are beautiful. I choose a simple dish, grilled shrinps , but I got a beautiful made plate with excellent flavours. Also the wine was very nice.

Easily one of the best restaurants we encountered on our visit. The ceramic pot with lamb was incredible, the service was brilliant and we even had a few visit from some friendly cats too!

We loved the quaint setting of this restaurant. Good menu and very nice house wine. Definitely worth a visit would liked to have revisited but ran out of days. Quite warm in there. Sit inside by the old well.

The lamb dish at the table won. The wine list, service, and ambiance was lovely. Do sit outside. Make reservations.

Although all the tables were occupied, we were pleasantly surprised to see that, although shown to an inside table, it was in fact open to the night sky. We stuck to the Cretan menu - we started with bread with tomato and olive dips, grilled greens in fur entry (a type of flour) and vegetables in a filo pastry roll.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here in the lovely courtyard. We ate at 7pm but many tables were reserved so possibly worth booking if you are in a party or eating later. I had a vegetarian ravioli and my husband had a stuffed chicken. We also ordered a side of roasted veg which was served on a plank Jamie Oliver... More

Ate here a few years ago and it's not as good as it was. Pork in onions was ok. Wife had lamb chops which had a maximum amount of salt. Should have sent them back.

The restaurant is on the site where once stood a Venetian building which was linked to the residence on the south side through a doorway. It is believed that where the covered dining area stands was once a large storeroom and animal stable. The dining courtyard was indeed a courtyard and animal feeding area. In 2003 the chef and owner Harris Pavlakis decided to open the restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional local and greek dishes with local products and provides a friendly and romantic atmosphere. Our restaurant is certificated for Cretan Cuisine from The Greek Academy Of Taste and has won 2 gold medals one in the 9th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking and the other in the 6th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking.
