Went to this restaurant in July 2016 after having read reviews on Tripadvisor. It did not disappoint! We had the lamb chops and chicken, which were both delicious! We had the house wine, which was also tasty. The location was so lovely, in a small alley with flowers. Would definitely eat here again!

This place has a lovely surrounding, professional service and good food. By just reading the menu you get a feel for how much the chefs loves what they do. Well worth a visit.

I've now been to to pidagi 3 times. Each time I've been there I haven't been disappointed. The restaurant itself is one of the most romantic places I've eaten it. It has the old well from which it got it's name, vines overhead, flowers, it really is beautiful. It is slightly expensive compared to some other restaurants however it is... More

This restaurant which is in the old town is amazing, the food & wine was very tasty, we could not fault the place at all, it didn't feel like you was sitting outside, but you was.

We visited To Picgadi after the raves on here and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, more than enough, well presented, fast but not hurried service. Well worth what we paid, 46€ for two, starters, main, wine, 5* metaxa and coffee. Beautiful restaurant, we ate in the side street, very romantic, just like Rethymno!!

Simply excellent! We are a family of 5 people. All the dishes were just great! This restaurant can really be recommended. Hieno ympäristö ja erinomaista ruokaa. Kasvisruoka ja gluteeniton erikseen merkitty ruokalistaan. Kiitos!

The cosy tavern in the old town is just perfect in many ways. I wont elaborate here to much. But the food is very tasty, pleasant waiters and enterior design ( greeco-turkysh with a lot of flowers) are just for 5*.

The location and restaurant itself are very nice and so is the staff at this place. However the food was a slight disappointment and totally over priced for the quantity and the quality. We ordered octopus and apakia as a starter: the octopus was just a very few bites and the apakia was totally over salted. As a main we... More

We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the outside courtyard at To Pigadi. My moussaka was the best I have had for years!! The service was terrific and friendly and the wine was great too. The courtyard is very pretty with lots of flowers and climbers - quite romantic really!

We intended to go for a snack type meal this night as we had eaten a late and large lunch, but once we saw this restaurant we knew we had to eat there. It's everything we would expect of a good Greek taverna, old photos, unusual and interesting memorabilia, vines and lovely creeping plants everywhere and lovely lighting. The service... More

The restaurant is on the site where once stood a Venetian building which was linked to the residence on the south side through a doorway. It is believed that where the covered dining area stands was once a large storeroom and animal stable. The dining courtyard was indeed a courtyard and animal feeding area. In 2003 the chef and owner Harris Pavlakis decided to open the restaurant. The restaurant serves traditional local and greek dishes with local products and provides a friendly and romantic atmosphere. Our restaurant is certificated for Cretan Cuisine from The Greek Academy Of Taste and has won 2 gold medals one in the 9th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking and the other in the 6th contest of Cretan Traditional Cooking.
