We had a really great time having lunch here before visiting the city and we totally advise you to come and eat at Erganos. The food was excellent, and we were always served with a great smile. The surprise dessert with raki is really a sign of Cretan hospitality! Thank you a lot for everything!

We were told that this restaurant served traditional Cretan food. We should have asked when we sat down as although it is a nice restaurant and a little out of town so it's not too busy we were given a menu printed in English. If you choose to eat here ask the waiter what comes with the main course you... More

I enjoyed a wonderful meal here last night. The Greek salad was very fresh, and the feta cheese had delicious herbs on it. I also enjoyed the meat balls as an appetizer. After the meal, when I thought I couldn't eat any more, they brought complimentary desserts of cake with ice cream, watermelon, and a small pitcher of Rakia! The... More

What a great find this was. A house converted to a small restaurant. The owner Mihalis recommended some great food, sat with us towards the end and spoke for a while serving us sweets fruit and raki at the end of the service and then when we asked for directions back to the hotel he got his son to drive... Everything was great. The waiter explained us all we wanted to know about the menu, he told us how the food is prepared and he recommended us the local, traditional dishes. So we ate fried snails, goat with tomato sauce and local pasta. The portions are big and the prices are very good. Furthermore, at the end, we received a... More

The service was great, and I was happy to support a family run business. The food was good and traditional. The setting was nice too.

We arrived at this restaurant and were amazed at the experience that we encountered. First of all, we were greeted by the family of the restaurant. They were very prompt in taking our order and bringing us the food that we requested. While traveling in Greece, please be aware that they want you to enjoy your experience and they are... More
