I went three times! Enjoyed the lovely home-cooked food and Cretan wine, and excellent service. The owner is very keen to teach guests to chat in Greek, and I was pleased to learn to say "Ti kanete", or "How are you" and the reply, "Kala".
Only minutes away from the main shopping street (go down through El Greco park and playground) and not far from the archeological museum, this is a restaurant worth seeking out.
Nice atmosphere and very good chicken soulaki meal, plus a free warm dumpling desert.
A friendly member of staff, or possibly the owner, was walking out of the place at the time and let us know that they would open in April. It looks like great restaurant, we were gutted to have missed it.
Just arrived in Greece and this is the first restaurant we tried (we found this restaurant online with good reviews and booked in advance)... Staff are very friendly and food is amazing, honestly the best meatballs I've ever had... And all for a great price.
