We loved this place! Service was great and very friendly! The food was excellent! We couldn't say anything bad for this place! Even the fruit and dessert served with raki after the meal is made to impress!
Excellent food (creative traditional cretan and international food).
Friendly and professional service.
Quiet place. Nice and modern deco.
Excellent price (drinks are cheaper than everywhere in Crete where we spent 2 weeks)
We spent a perfect last evening.
Thank you for everything and continue like...this!More
I went here with my family and we all enjoyed the food. The dishes were very modern and tasteful. Me and my daughter both got the beef inside skirt and it was excellent. My other daughter got the grilled salmon with guacamole and she thought...it was really good. My wife had the beetroot salad which she enjoyed rather much and would like to try to make at home someday. This was a great restaurant with a great atmosphere and service. They also served us a fruit dish which was cute and tasteful.
So at first I came here because Koyzeinepi was closed, so I had doubts about getting a steak for tea. I sat down and enjoyed a nice Johnny Walker and mythos which was quick to my service and VERY refreshing. We had a starter of...bread and sauce which was top notch and at a very high standard for only €0.50. When I asked the lovely waitress for the ribeye steak I asked if they could serve my steak with garlic mayonnaise but they said no. I then asked for peppercorn sauce but again they didn't serve it, at this point I was sceptical but the waitress let me know what the steak was cooked with and what alternate sauce they served. I enjoy my whisky and beer surrounded by a pleasant environment. Only around 20 minutes later my food arrived with excellent presentation. I took a slice of the chunky steak and it was at the first bite I realised there was nothing I had ever ate compared to this piece of steak I was eating. The waitress didn't let me down on her word about the sheer juiciness of the steak. The side of homemade potato fries were also sent from the heavens. The waitresses english was adequate and complemented us with an “on the house” dessert, which I may add, was decent. Couldn't complain one bit about this lovely place, my holiday to crete has been made purely on my experience of this restaurant.More
The card says ancient diet with modern message. This is very true for this revamped restaurant open only a few weeks. We first had coffee then returned the next day for lunch. The salads we had were fresh, with high quality ingredients and delicious. The...capers in my Greek salad were unique, and were told they prepare them themselves. This is the kind of attention to detail they seem to be going for. Friendly service just up from the old fortress in a quiet little street with a sea breeze and plenty of shade.
Well worth seeking out for either lunch or dinner.More
We went to this restaurant as a group of 20 colleagues, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and funny, offering us complimentary drinks and desserts... The food is terribly good, especially the sea bass, the salmon and the seafood spaghetti and the moussaka! We'll definitely...come back if we're back in Crete!More
Vacationing and landed in Crete. We were looking for a place to eat and someone told us about it. Amazing, the staff was very friendly and went out of the way to help with the meal options. We ordered 4 different meals and they were...all “Amazing”. You have to visit and say hi to Anna.....More
Everything we tried here had an unexpected twist and clearly has a lot of thought and care put into it.
The food is very modern, we had deep fried rissotto with chorizo oil in a dropper to inject into the risotto balls and some parmesan...foam, even the carbonara had a lovely twist from the classic.
Highly recommend this place, do not miss if nearby.More
