A must visit when in Heraklion. Situated in the main square - a perfect place to have a relaxing lunch whilst people watching. Service was friendly and accommodating. As many people have already said, the Bougatsa is a must!More

A beautifully traditional place, in the city's main square. The service was fast and the staff does anything to make you feel comfortable. As for the food, the salads were delicious and the famous bougatsa should not be missed either. I highly recommend the place.More

The best place to be for a traditional Greek “bougatsa”. The staff are always willing to answer any questions and have good knowledge of their products. It’s worth the visit !

A wonderful place in the heart of the city and specifically in the lions square. Relaxing music, clear place, excellent quality in its products, very reasonable prices and an incredibly smiling and polite staff. Although there was a lot of people and all the tables...were full, the service was incredibly fast. Specifically, we tried the unique bougatsa mizithra with honey and walnuts and homemade lemonade. I can't wait to be on the island again and to visit you again, trying this time and your wonderful sweets as well as the traditional loukoumades. It is a place worth visiting on the island and try all these unique flavors. I highly recommend it. Simply fantastic!More

Please order the bougatsa either with cream or cheese or both! Ask them to add sugar and cinammon! I personaly like the cheese pie with sugar and cinammon but also the bougatsa with cream.

The coffee was excellent (not cheap, but it comes with a view). But arguably the standout was the bougatsa, a pastry filled with custard (called 'cream' in the menu). They're spectacular. Enjoy.

The best place to start tasting bougasta and Greek coffee: Sketo - no sugar, metrio- medium sweet, glyko - very sweet. Tastes divine!))
