Had very limited time before taking flight from Heraklion airport, so we took gyros and greek salad to go. Everything was tasty. As a note, this place doesn't use yoghurt sauce in gyros, but they put mustard sauce instead which is also tasty :)

We had a quick lunch here during our trip to Heraclion. Very busy place in a nice location.Tables were somehow small but it is normal for a fast food. Food was very good, tasty and juicy kebab.Quick service and normal prices.

Quick service and basic but tasty meals if you are hungry but in a hurry. The cost is quite cheap fo the amount of food you get but don’t expect gourmet.

As Muslims we wanted to eat hear tonight as this restaurant has good reviews and says the food is halal. Even on the sign outside is a large logo saying: halal food. When we saw the menu however there were pork dishes!? Next to this...alcohol is served very prominently. Upon seeing all this we left disappointedMore

While tour guides try to get you to go to certain restaurants that end up costing you much more, Izmir Kebap is not that place. The food is fresh and flavorful but doesn’t break the bank. I would absolutely say yes if anybody asked if...I would eat there again. You leave full, happy, and you aren’t scratching your head wondering how you racked up that kind of bill.More

Visited Izmir Kebab as we wanted a lunch break whilst on a walking tour of Heraklion and we were not disappointed with a good location in the town centre to people watch, an excellent good value menu with really tasty kebabs and good service. Can...certainly recommend.More

I was there during the main hours but the main waiter was so fast and super organized that I had my beer and food within a super short time. The mixed grill plate for one person is really big and tjus reasnoably priced.

Our food was fantastic and the service was great! We had more than we could possibly eat (kebab plate and a pita wrap) and it was less than 20€. Worth a visit for sure!

We visited Iraklio when we were on holiday In Malia on 2 occasions and on both visits we eat at Izmir Kebap. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I cannot wait to go back in June this year. It will be...a highlight of this years holiday.More

Food is of a reasonable quality and affordable. We primarily came here as one of our party was keen on finding a halal restaurant. I'm guessing Crete being a predominately Greek Orthodox island it will always be challenging finding cuisine of this sort here!
