We spent 4 nights out of our 7 nights at their place after discovering them, the only restaurant where we felt the real GREEK hospitality of all the restaurants we visited on the island. The restaurant is in a wonderful location, directly overlooking the sea and retains the feel of a real Greek taverna, the owner and staff are phenomenal, very kind, attentive, every day felt like going home. :D The food was great in every way (portion, quality, taste, price)

Wonderful place located on the port of Chania. They welcomed us with a smile and kindness, we ordered the first night the sea fry for two, very large portions and fresh quality fish. The second night we ordered a mixed grilled meat with potatoes, excellent and really hearty. The staff very helpful and attentive to the customer, especially Andrea, very considerate with everyone and courteous. He made us feel at home from the first moment. We highly recommend it, it has very honest prices also. The absolute best in Chania

On the seafront it’s an unassuming restaurant but the greeting was so warm and welcoming with a depth of menu to satisfy everyone. The owners and the waiting team were amazing with the food to back it up some lovely touches and generous portions. Great value for money and I would wholeheartedly recommend you try this wonderful venue.

the restaurant is well situated on the harbor in the old town it was pretty full, and it was time to eat we started with dolmades, and the greeter suggested garlic bread with cheese and tomato. both were pretty bad, but we were hungry and had a limited time frame for lunch my shrimp with garlic was horrible. the rice was swimming with oil, and my partners caramelized octopus was unrecognizable as octopus. we tried to eat most of it because .. this was lunch, in retrospect, we should have sent it back or just left it now afterwards i am disgusted at what i ate a bit worried about becoming ill as a result avoid this at all costs

We have been to this restaurant several times this year and last. Every meal we have had has been excellent and the staff are friendly and efficient. They are very good at catering for our son who has various food allergies : we carry a list in Greek and English. We have particularly enjoyed the seafood pasta and risotto dishes.

Looked like a standard tourist restaurant on the Chania waterfront - complete with pictures in the menu - but turned out to be a good find. The food wasn’t spectacular but it was all well cooked and tasty for our hungry stomachs. We received cake and ice cream for dessert at no charge, along with the normal ouzo. While there are better options if you know where to look, this was a good place to go when you just wanted to sit down and eat.

We were on a cruise ship with food included so tended not to eat in the many fine places we visited. However the food here looked excellent, was well priced and in a great location so we stopped for lunch. I am so glad we did as the food was excellent. Menu specials, sardines, salad, desert and raki for €6 and giros meal with chips, salad, desert and raki for €9. All food great and the atmosphere and people watching excellent as the restaurant is right on the harbour side. We didn’t realise we had raki to follow until the owner / waiter brought a 200ml bottle and left it on our table! We had 5 glasses between us but I’m sure he wouldn’t have minded if we’d finished the bottle! Highly recommended.

Although focused on the tourist trade, they do not sacrifice food or service quality. The grilled sea food is excellent, and they allow us to substitute octopus for salmon. The fish is so fresh we saw a fisherman bringing in his catch to the kitchen!

A great harbor side restaurant. It caters to the tourists but still delivered great service and excellent food. We had the mixed grilled seafood and they were happy to substitute octopus for salmon. The grilled seafood is tasty and fresh. So fresh we watched a local fisherman bringing his catch into the kitchen!

For our last night, my wife and I wanted to enjoy the sunset one last time my Chania’s Old Harbor which is lined with a multitude of restaurants. We chose this Taverna which is located directly in the heart of the harbor. If you come before 8pm or so, there a great deals offered for two people shared meals. It’s a ton of quality food at a reasonable price. We chose: Seafood platter w/Greek salad: the special is 28 Euros and comes with a small salad which is just enough for two. And a large mound of seafood which includes octopus, calamari, shrimp both large and small, fish, sardines, and French fries. I thought it was excellent. Seafood spaghetti: this is 13 euros and was enough pasta for two people. Excellent gravy in the seafood spaghetti. Probably the best one I had in Greece after two weeks here. Service was overall fast, friendly, and efficient. I’m sad that I discovered this taverna the day before I was leaving.

Honestly to begin with we walked past this place and actually came back because it looked so good. We ordered a few dishes, the Fried Calamari, the grilled Shrimps, and the Garlic Mussels. We also asked for some bread with the Mussels. The bread came out first, which we ideally wanted with the Mussels. It was unfortunately rather stale and difficult to eat. The Mussels then came out; they were average, unfortunately there wasn't really any broth, just a Risotto which we didn't really want. The Fried Calamari came out, which was rubbery and tasteless with no sauce to dip it in. To be fair to them, they did ask us to order the "Fresh Calamari" because this wasn't a frozen one, but we wanted battered so we kinda had to have the fried one. The shrimps were disappointing, no real side salad, and I think there was about 5 or 6 on the plate. Was a pain by the time I'd de skinned them and de headed them, and they weren't de veined when they were delivered. The sauce was alright but could've been store bought. We dined with another couple who said their Fillet Steaks were very good however, so maybe we just ordered the wrong stuff. I have to mention also that it was my friends birthday, and we told the staff this and a Stein of beer was brought over. Unfortunately, we were charged for that, we did think it would be free to start with, The staff did however give us several free shots. It wasn't great value for what we had, but our friends did say they enjoyed there's and the other reviews are good, this was just our honest experience.

I've been a chef for 35 years and I have never eaten something so bland,cold and totally over priced in my life. The cuttle fish was rubber and the mussels were still frozen. When I told the waiter he said never mind and sorry. Please do not eat here as a total waste of money the best thing about the meal was us leaving Just rubbish and a total rip off!!! Even if this save 1 person from a terrible meal it was worth it

We had the fresh seafood platter for 2, which cost £62 . It wad absolutely awful. Octopus and cuttle fish were over cooked and chewy, like rubber Everything was very bland, and tasteless. Had to ask for some vnegar/ oil to try to give it some flavour. It's a very busy restaurant in a tourist area, they really don't care. Its just bums on seats and turn the table for the next guest. I told them theplatter was very disappointing, and he didn't care at all. Try somewhere else
