The service was very good and the food was so delicious, much better than expected. They are not serving bread as a part of the meal but we asked for bread and after few minutes we get fresh baked rolls just made for us. The wine list is good and we where recommended a local red full b be ody Cabernet Sauvignon Aspros Lagos 2018. It was a very good experience.

As the weather turned inclement so we taxi-d in to Chania from Agia Marina with Jackie and Reg who we met at the bus stop.
A short stroll brought us to the edge of the harbour, stormy waves were regularly coming over the harbour side and soaking the pavement and any feet that happened to be nearby.
In fact some of the waterside restaurants had sea water racing round the legs of their outside tables - great lunch atmosphere.
‘No pressing, no stressing’ read the Zepos sign, we wandered straight in and were given a great table facing the sea.
The atmosphere was fun, busy but not harried. The Kalitsounia were so fresh and light they were unbelievable and we enjoyed some of the best zucchini balls of our Cretan holiday.
The beers and coffee and lack of rush was perfect for watching the stormy seas.

There are so many bars and restaurants by the harbour it can be difficult to choose. I’m glad we went to this one though as we had a really nice time and would definitely return.
The location is perfect. Just feet from the sea and with amazing views across the Venetian harbour and the sea beyond. It is a laid-back place and we had some good fun with the staff who spoke excellent English and were very friendly.
True, the drinks are a little bit more expensive than some other places but the view certainly makes that worthwhile. The beer was cold which isn’t the case in every bar and the free peanuts appreciated.
A nice place to spend some time.

Slow, unfriendly service, salads that tasted like they had been sitting out all day, pizza with barely any topping and edges harder than titanium. Absolutely shocking considering a couple of seasons ago it was pretty good. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want overpriced, poorly cooked l, old food.

Terrible service and rude staffmembers. Ordered wine and it never came, so we asked where it was after 20 minutes and it didnt arrive for another 15 mins. Wineglasses were dirty, and the waiter didnt apologize or anything when we told him. Food was okay, not very much flavour and small, boring portion. Would never go back and wouldn recommend this place to anyone. Stay away

Easter Sunday and we wanted to eat some of the roast lamb. I’ve eaten spit roasted lamb before in Crete and it’s been delicious and the meat plentiful. The price was not cheap at nearly €20 and when it arrived it was a huge disappointment. There was scarcely any meat on either of the portions and the food was barely warm. The baked potatoes had no noticeable sign of being baked and had a dollop of mayonnaise on them. The potion of potatoes amounted to a small potato cut into three pieces. And the promised salad consisted of a few leaves from what was clearly a shop bought bag of ready made salad. Nothing like the luscious salads we’ve had in other restaurants.
Furthermore when we declared that we were unhappy with the meal and that we’d like to leave the member of staff was most aggressive and told us she was angry. We would have gone home hungry if we’d accepted that meal. I felt the behaviour of the staff was bullying and unpleasant.
The description sounded wonderful. The reality was dreadful.
I’m glad we left.

I’ve been in many restaurants in many countries but this restaurant, by far gave me the worst experience. The picture below was a full portion of ravioli ricotta, from the ugly platting to the unpleasant taste they literally put only 9 ravioli on the plate for €15. Besides the view I had nothing else to enjoy. I kindly asked the waiter to take it back and order something else instead due to the mentioned reasons above and I got refused, being told that they are wasting product by throwing my plate to the bin so they will have to charge me for this plate as well as what I was going to order. I have been a restaurant manager in London for enough time to realise that the amount of money a restaurant loses on these type of dishes is around €2-€3, which in my opinion is worth losing to make a customer happy and make sure she or he will come back to you. To mention that I don’t like complaining, knowing that the hospitality sector can sometimes be challenging, but customers should be an important factor for the restaurants. Unfortunately, I will not come back to this restaurant again!

Nice setting in the most touristy part of Chania. We didn’t expect great food but we expected to have a good time in a nice setting overlooking the water.
We also expected the food to be overpriced but that is ok. Location matters.
Well despite these expectations we were so disappointed. We waited 40min for the first dish to be brought over : it was burgers we had gotten for our kids. They were not expensive, but just a piece of meat, a bun, and a handful of fries - despite the menu showing a burger with lettuce, tomatoes. Don’t be fooled. We asked to get some and we were given tomates and lettuce with dressing which may have been the leftover from someone else’s dish - otherwise would not be seasoned!
Then the other dishes arrived piecemeal, long after the kids had finished their dinner.
The stuffed peppers were disgusting. The fish clearly not fresh. The moussaka average - only dish close to decent. Waiters were rude and unapologetic for the 1h10 it took to get our dishes overall.
Avoid this trap.

A combination of good food and a amazing view made my best friend and I’s night really good. Not that pricy. We heard about this place from some travel guides, and it definitely lived up to our expectations!! The waiters were so friendly and came up with good recommendations. Especially that the employees are not overbearing when standing and looking at the menu is a huge bonus!!! Can definitely be recommended!!

Perfect view, nice restaurant with conformable seats. Food average quality. Ordered orange juice, yogurt with fruits and honey and a greek coffee. Fresh Orange juice was cold and full of ice, the yogurt had a weird taste although it was covered with plenty of fruits and some honey. I had a diarrhoea later believed that yogurt was the reason.
Coffee was very good. I was surprised they were the only place in the town didn’t bring any water on the table.
A nice place doesn’t really say anything to me without quality and friendly atmosphere.
Will not go back.

This was by far the best place me and my boyfriend visited during our week-long trip to Greece. They have a pretty extensive menu with plenty of options and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. They also have a fair number of cocktails and they don't skimp on the alcohol. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bit cold when we came so they offered us blankets and brought a space warmer to keep us cozy.
The view is wonderful and they even offer seats that are directly facing the harbor so you can enjoy it all the more. It was the best dining experience I've had in a long while and a definite must try.

Friendly, stylish restaurant with great service & food on the harbour front. Visited with family, all enjoyed. We ate here again on our last evening on Crete. Would highly recommend the the white wine from the Peleponesse region on the menu, think it was €22 😋

How to be a vegan on a Sunday in Chania. Whilst there are specific Vegan restaurants ( with fantastic options) there are few open on Sunday. So we had to shop around pleased to say we didn't have to look far for amazing authentic vegan food and we had a fantastic Harbour view.
The service was nice polite and perfect for Sunday afternoon leisurely eating.
A beautiful afternoon.. full of flavours that danced on my tongue till sundown..

We decided to take a seat in Zepos as the man front of house was extremely friendly and was not pressing us to sit down and eat, instead he just asked us how we were in a friendly manner. Ordered some cocktails which were delicious. Starters came quickly and our mains were some of the best food we had all holiday. Slightly pricey compared to other spots, however the service made it valuable. It was the only place we ate in the cleared our starters before the mains were served, and we were being checked up on for more drinks or other services. Thats rare in Chania it seems. Very nice place with great staff. I'd recommend the grilled octopus.

We visited here on our final day in Chania and they had a separate vegan menu. We were sat on the harbour with a lovely view and ordered the vegan Dolmades, which they brought with houmous, vegan moussaka and a salad. Very friendly staff and a great final lunch in Chania!
