We ate at this restaurant on 6 occasions recently. The reasons for ging there so often was because other the other restaurants added extra items to our bill! Here the food was always good and Stella and her staff were excellent and appreciated our repeat...business. Plenty of choice and only 50 metres back from the harbour. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed. Also cheaper than the majority of the other restaurants in Chania.More
We enjoyed breakfast here every morning during our stay in Chania and absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff, nice views on to the harbour from a side street (so a bit calmer) and delicious food. Particularly likes the sfakian pies that were part of the...cretan breakfast and the scrambled eggs with fresh tomatoes. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again when next in Chania. Thanks a lot!More
This is an excellent restaurant. Well placed just off the harbour.
The food is wonderful. The lamb chops, the moussaka and the steak were all beautifully cooked made with quality ingredients. The Feta on the Greek salad is some of the best I have ever...tasted. Excellent wine list made of some very good local wines.
We also had the breakfast here which was excellent - it is must visit for anyone coming to Chania.
The staff are all knowledge, professional, attentive and friendly.
We look forward to coming back here every year.More
You really need to be careful in Chania as there are a number of tourist trap restaurants with inflated prices and poor food. Enetikon is not one of those. It was our salvation after a near miss... we came here and were greeted by the...friendliest and most generous wait staff... they gave good advice re the food, the number of portions needed for our family of 5 (including our 3 kids aged 11-14). We ate authentic well preparted Cretan food, with lovely house wine for around 70 euros. Some unusual options too which we hadnt tried elsewhere. All served on the lovely street corner away from the hard sell restaurants on the sea front. It was a relaxing and wonderful evening. Many thanks to the team.More
I can’t tell if I miss more Stella and her staff or her delicious meals. We went here every day for breakfast and almost every day for dinner, except when we hadn’t dinner…
Everything here is super: service, food, wine, place position. If you want...eat something cooked with love and knowledge in a nice atmosphere you have to come here. It was like being to a relative, you can feel like at your home.
I absolutely recommend this Taverna!More
The restaurant is located quite in the city centre, in the small streets. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the food was great! The octopus was very delicious and the chicken souvlaki tender. Definitely recommend it!
We had a great dinner in this restaurant. I really appreciated:
- The delicious food
- The excellent and fast service
- The location in the old town
- The cleanliness
- The quiet atmosphere
- We were the last customers in the restaurant but...the waiters did not pressure us to leave.
- The complimentary desert
- The constant service and food quality - we tried this place a few years ago and the experience was similar.More
