Excellent food, great location by the water (though better go by taxi since no easy parking is available). Terrible service! Our main order (2kgs fish + 1kg additional fish) took over one hour to be served while guests that came after us were getting their fruits and desserts! We were totally ignored by the rare waiters around. One of them... More

The atmosphere was beautiful sitting by the water! The food was very ordinary. The French fries were re-fried, and stale. The fish was fresh and well cooked, but I don't think it weighed 400grams uncooked as we were told and charged. The service was slow and not very friendly.

The food is solid. I won't say spectacular because its wasn't. The fact that it is on a beach is interesting and I liked that idea. We got to watch the sunset and it was enjoyable. I don't mind paying extra for good food but honestly it was just average. I could have made better. However I will say that... More

As soon as you land in Chania airport, make a reservation and go directly to Thalassino Ageri. Best time to arrive there, just before the sunset. It is very difficult to describe in words the whole experience: breath-taking view, amazing location, excellent food and service. When talking about "eating by the sea" it is a synonym with Thalassino Ageri. Perfect!... More

If you are in Chania and haven't visited this place, you really don't know what you are missing! The location is great! You should definitely go there before sunset! The food was delicious, the service was great and the prices were better than expected! I am definitely recommending this place!

Location is awesome. Seafood is excellent, fresh, properly cooked. Came here 1st time over 10 years ago...little discovered, not anymore. I visit chania, i visit this place and so should you. Prices not inexpensive, service good and you may need to make reservations if party more then 3-4 and later in evening.

As a place its one of those magical greek island theme restaurands. Service was good and food good cooked But the portions was very small for the prices they asked. Two small pcs of calamari for almost €12. Even a small plate of tzatziki is almost €4. Table for two and we pay €65. And we didn't order a'class fish.... More
