Great food in huge portions. A lovely restaurant, family-run, located in a corner near the walls of old city of Chania, very easy to access. Very nice atmosphere with great lighting and enormous cacti! We loved every plate we tasted every time we had dinner there! Totally reasonable prices for the quality of food they are offering. Friendly staff, a... More

In a street with a lot of taverns, this one has the largest space and nice atmosphere. Service is friendly, food ok for the price.

We ate here at the end of our holiday in Chania and wished we'd done so on the first night as we'd have gone back several times for sure. I had the swordfish which was beautiful - fresh, tasty, melt in your mouth. We had avocado and tzatziki and fava for starters which was also very good. Lovely, fresh, delicious... More

We came here 5 years ago and had a great meal. Nice to see that food and service are still as good as back then.

Beautiful and nice place, with well located fans in the street that makes you feel more comfortable in hot nights. Good food, everything correct, but most important thing is the enchanting boss waiter, a very nice man that will give you his best smile even he's running up and down with the orders. At the end they invite you to... More

The restaurant was located on a really nice street and it was the most perfect atmosphere for dinner. I had the mushrooms stuffed with cheese and a gyros plate. The meal was really nice and affordable. What made it worth it was the location and how peaceful it was.

We went there for a light dinner last night. Cheese pies, salat and zatziki, and melons. Very nice and cozy taverna, friendly people that works there and the food was very good. Highly recommend this place. Got a very nice cake after our meal not as sweet as many of the other cakes we have gotten.

The restaurant was situated in a beautiful quite corner of a back street. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful and this sets it apart from others in the area, where service is not necessarily the priority. On returning for a second night we were greeted like long lost friends and made to feel special. The menu... More

Moutoupaki serves the usual Cretan fare which is good but not extraordinary. Fried zucchini was a little too thick with batter, stuffed tomatoes a little under seasoned. They serve very good white Tarama, salty and tasty. The pork yiro a little dry and forgettable. The usual complimentary watermelon and raki at the end. Good but not a standout.

We came across this restaurant whilst exploring the beautiful old town. Very nice place to eat and enjoy the night. The food was good. We ordered Kebabs as our main and they were just right. Staff very friendly also. The restaurant sits on a wide bend in the old town, not too far from the Bastion of Lando entry point... More
