At 1860, on a point where East meets West, great grandfather Dimitris started building this house with his own hands, stone by stone, along with the first houses of this village. His son inherited it and he passed it to his son... Nowadays, the fifth generation of owners, we decided to open the doors of our family home ('to patriko mas') and share with you our home made dishes on a genuine family restaurant that will leave you the sweetest of memories!
Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with some great food and fab wine which was decanted as it should be for the bottle we chose ( Greek of course). Great service and reasonably priced for the quality. Would highly recommend.
We ate here both nights we stayed in Delphi. Lovely food, dishes creative and not the usual run of the mill Greek fare. Service attentive but not overly so. Prices very reasonable for the quality of food. Beautiful terrace overlooking the gorge and plains towards...the lights of the coast. You couldn’t beat the setting.More
It was quite an atmosphere the one given by the terrace of this restaurant, most of them under some sort of orchard with view of the valley.
The dishes of the day were excellent, with special mention to my veal stack.
The 4 of us had a corner table with a spectacular view -- "poli oraia".
The food was "poli nostimo" (very delicious), the service was friendly and unobtrusive (they chilled our wine, tableside) and such desserts -- some of the best baklava we've ever tasted....The place was quiet, spacious, and very clean. Curtains helped manage the mid-day sun after we had our fill of the view. It was a delightful lunch.More
For lunch, you can find no better views to join with a great lunch. We were seated in the main room at the large windows overlooking the valley. For mains we had the chicken filet which was very good, the chicken pasta (excellent) and a...couple baskets of their wonderful bread. Of course fresh orange juice. Total was a very reasonable 25 euros. Service was top notched. The portions were large.More
Good restaurant at a convenient location - it was just opposite the hotel that we were staying. nice atmosphere, with traditional greek food. Try the stuffed cabbage (lahandolmathes), grilled sea bream and lamb stew. Mushrooms were average.
After flying in from Rome and a 2-hour drive from Athens we were looking for a good meal. We were warmly greeted by friendly staff who explained the menu to us. Food was delicious; we had the pork fillets and lamb chops with local wine....Thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed on for coffee and was pleasantly surprised when we were served complimentary dessert. Highly recommended.More
