About
The tavern 'Vakhos' is a family business based on the taste of the Theodorakis family and their love for traditional Greek cuisine, aromas and memories of homemade food. Our focus on food is based on our love for good food, food is memories, in the kitchen of our house the simplest ingredients had the most wonderful smells. The top feature of our kitchen is the edible seasonal goods that we gather reverently all year round for our cooking.

Must go while in Delphi. The view during the sunset is just superb (we had the last table in the corner). The food was greatly made, definitely home cooked with fresh products. The flavors were just perfect!

We walked into this place a little unsure, but knew we chose well when saw the breathtaking views all the way down to the sea. The quality of food isn't dar behind either. We got a salad to share, then a goat stew and chicken...pasta for mains, and a baklava to finish, all of which were very good and fresh. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Delphi looks like a pretty small place, so if you eat, make sure you eat here!More

All of the dishes we ordered were very delicious, however the feta cheese was outstanding. On top of it the beer selection is fantastic. 👍👍👍👍👍

The view is terrific! The cheesecake is amazing. My wife had chicken soup. I had pork souvlakia. Both meals were good.

We came here for lunch after visiting the Delphi site in the morning and before driving back to Athens airport. Annoyingly the restaurant didn't open until 12:30, but we had a table with a great view out over the valley. Food was decent and the...service quite efficient.More

The taverna is in Kastri. The village was relocated from Delphi in 1800s when excavations began. The taverna is a family run; Loukia is the manager, her husband Illias is the cook, and their two sons Theodore and Andreas help. The service was relaxed as...Greece goes. The food is alright; basic. The grape leaves stuffed with rice were yummy. The fried kefalotori was greasy. The lamb in lemon sauce was fall off the bone but I couldnt tell the flavor of the sauce. You should go for the views which are truly spectacularMore
