My partner and I went for my birthday. We had dinner outdoors under a mulberry tree, our table was perfectly lit. Crisp white linens, with an efficient waiter, what is expected from a French Restaurant. We had two glasses of champagne (expensive, but excellent) two cold foie gras, one fish and one tartare de boeuf with an asparagus salad. It was good traditional food. Not the best presentation of the tartar, but it was lovely and the pommes frites were delicious. Having had all of the most expensive things on the menu, we knew the bill would be an eyesore. Over we were very happy, as. expected, not refined Michelin star food, but excellent.

We have visited this specific restaurant several times. The last time we visited, the problem was not the food, but the service. We placed our order and the waiter asked us if we would also like to order in advance our dessert. We explicitly told him that this time we did not want the chocolate soufflé but the crepes. When we finished our dinner at 23:10 the same waiter came to ask us again what dessert we would like to order. We explained to him that we had already ordered the crepes earlier to him. He replied that it was late to prepare this dessert because the restaurant would be closing at 12:00. They had 50 min to prepare our dessert, which they denied to do so, while at the same time another waiter prepared crepes for two other tables! This is not the professional behaviour and service you would expect from a very expensive restaurant.

The cuisine here is traditional old fashioned French and they do it right. We had excellent salads, fish courses, and sorbets, with a good Greek wine. The seating under the trees in the garden was sublime. Very peaceful. Good service. An elegrant group of diners here.

Starting with the good - ambiance and OK service. Food was terrible. Escargots were overcooked and served with a strange sauce. The Coquille Saint-Jacques was also overcooked and served in a sweet red wine sauce which was not good. Looking for a new French restaurant in Athens. The one we used to go to closed down during Covid lockdown.

The restaurant praises itself to be French. However neither the quality of the food nor the service justifies the overpriced choices. If I have not been in France the week before, where I paid less than 40 -50 euros for a menu of delicious food, I may have been less disappointed to pay 100 euros/per person. In addition, I found it incredibly rude to open second bottle of a 40 euros bottle of white wine without asking. This restaurant is a scam and should be avoided at all costs when in Greece.

Had an absolutely fabulous meal here. Sat in the outside garden which is a lovely spot for dinner. Had a selection of starters and shared a cote de beouf which was served with courgette salad, crisp French fries and excellent bernaise sauce. Truly excellent dinner!

A definite must if you want to experience French cuisine when in Athens. We had an amazing onion soup, excellent snails and carpaccio with truffles. The Saint Jacques were to die for and the entrecot the same. Prices are ok for the quality of food. We will return!!!

What a delightful experience! 17 years of on-and-off patronage truly culminates in this symphony of mixed-bag delights, all for the reasonable price tag of 150 euros (wine not included, of course). My wife, an avid fan of swimming steaks in sauce, was particularly thrilled to receive hers pre-marinated, despite her pleas to the contrary. The waiter, a model of efficiency, ensured a swift return of her dish, albeit transformed into a charcoal briquette – a true testament to the chef's culinary prowess. Needless to say, this charming establishment has forever captured my heart, and I certainly won't be returning anytime soon

Good food, nice, elegant ambiance, inconsistent service (sometimes the waiters are nice, sometimes they are indifferent). Thankfully there was no music torturing our ears, as is the case everywhere else.

Americans not welcome. My sister and I were staying in a lovely apartment above the restaurant, so we thought we would venture down to check this restaurant out. There were several tables occupied, and several more that were open. When we asked to see a menu, the waiter reluctantly complied. However, as he handed us the menu, he said, “We’re closed.” even though it was 4 hours before their posted closing time. There was a full staff of waiters just standing around and the restaurant was only 1/3 full, yet they didn’t want Americans. Our host later told us they are very, very snobby even to the locals unless you are a politician, a well-known family, or a celebrity.
If an American has ever been welcomed there, I’m sure they have celebrity status or exude excessive wealth. I am certain my accent and the tattoo I have of a lovely turtle on my forearm definitely made me stand out as an American woman and they immediately judged me too inferior to patronize their establishment.
They should just put out a sign “No Americans Welcome here.”

I was very disappointed with the whole vibe. Here in order to be served you need to know the owner or be a politician or from a sort of family. The waiters were snob and rude with us however with the politicians that were sitting next to us were extremely helpful, joyful. The food onto their table was on time however our food came later with the claim that was a disfunction in the kitchen!

Went for dinner with a friendly couple. Lovely atmosphere under the mulberry trees.
Excellent service. Try the pate, the steak tartare, or the chateaubriand. Then the chocolate souffle!

Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
