Definitely a good noodle fix after not having any Asian options in the Greek islands. I had the fried rice, beef salad and stir fry noodle special. All were very good!

The spicy tuna roll (while not that spicy) melted in my mouth. The crab cream cheese wontons were delightful, crispy and fresh, and yes, how nice to have a break from feta cheese! BONUS: They have sriracha sauce. Even though it's not 'local' you can still get a big, cheap glass of house wine. We ordered 3 other noodle and... More

This is an ideal place for a quick snack or cheap eat. It has a variety of noodle dishes and sushi. The place is clean, the service quick and the food okay for the type of place it is.

All in all - good all round; I've taken a few pictures including the menu so you can see what to expect. Choice: both sushi menu & your typical noodles (Pad Thai / Singapore / Duck) will be found on the two menus. Flavour: good Presentation: good Service: good Price: good Ideal if you're after a change from Greek. There... More

This restaurant is inexpensive and good. They have a variety of noodle and rice dishes - Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Malaysian - and the service is quick and friendly. We really liked the Samosa appetizer. We had several lunches there during a week's visit.

The food was overall disappointing, nothing special. We tried the Bang Bang appetizer, which was better than the other dishes we had but still not great. The soups (Tom Yum and Tom Ghai) were lacking in meat and vegetables and the broth was okay. I would not recommend this restaurant.

It maimly focus for takeaway and saw alot of motor bike infront of the shop. But ther were places for more than 40 seats for sitdown customer in need and coozy enviroment. Service is quick and Japanese style noodle or chinese style fried rice and noodle are delicious in different taste. Sarke of Japan was good accompany.

We ordered Laksa and Ramen and as someone that used to live in Singapore and go to Japan at least 5 or 6 times a year, it really bother me that they tag those names on those dishes. Neither look like nor taste like Laksa/Ramen and non of the typical ingredients used in those noodles dishes are present except hot... More

We order from Noodle Bar almost every time we're in Athens. They're fast, the food is reliably good and the prices ok.

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
