We got here on a late morning and it was very busy. The place was full of tourists and locals. This coffee smell was very good!! We had the cold coffee and the orange Greek cake - both very good!!

Great little cafe near the center of Athens. Not the most touristy place as it’s a few blocks out of the main tourist zone. Ibrik coffee is great, as is their Freddy cappuccino/espresso. Friendly and helpful staff, great people-watching outside

Discovered this cafe just down the road from our Hotel. Such friendly people and the best coffee we had in Athens. Also nice fresh croissant and pastries. After our first visit we were greeted like old friends on each visit.

A place to enjoy very good tradional Greek coffee and sweets: so called "sweets of the spoon", which are served also with fresh yoghurt; plenty of other drinks and snacks, too,(sandwiches, croissants) as well as other kinds coffee and tea. Good value for money. The place...has also fresh ground coffee to take away. And afterwards you can explore the famous Athinas Street market next to it. Not to be missed if you are visiting Athens!More

Loved drinking authentic Greek coffee! We love anything traditional. The space is small but there’s space outside as well.

Been here before and tried the Ibrik coffee prepared traditionally over hot sand and loved it esp when they serve it with a side of Loukumi. Took my daughter and son again recently and they loved the freddo coffees, actually one of the best we've...had during this trip! Don't forget to try the orange cake that pairs well with their coffee!More

Lovely little coffee shop, amazing coffee! Was interesting to try and to watch it be made, the staff are lovely. Came here twice on my travels in Athens. Went next door on the second trip to take some coffee beans home, however they tried to...charge me 56 euros instead of 5.30 euros for the small bag, only because the machine asked for the pin was I aware of this. The coffee at home has given a dodgy tummy on two occasions, so has gone in the bin.More

As fussy coffee drinkers from Melbourne Australia we had struggled to find great coffee in Athens, this is until we discovered Mokka. Excellent coffee made meticulously by the friendly staff. Highly recommend you visit if you are fussy like us.

I’ve had Greek coffee before with the clump of grounds at the bottom. It’s the type of sludge that gets you ready for the day. Not for everyone, especially when you aren’t expecting the grounds at the bottom. I had never seen it brewed on...hot sand before. Worth a visit just to see how that works. Take a seat outside for good people watching by the busy market.More

Our food guide stopped here for a traditional Greek Turkish coffee. She ordered for us and explained the cooking process of the hot sand. We also enjoyed delicious Turkish delight with our coffee. You can buy more next door if you’re a fan of Turkish...delight - there flavors were very distinct and much more flavorful than other delights I’ve had previously. Great experience with tasty Greek coffee.More

Best traditional Greek coffee. After hearing a lot about this place, we decided to visit and try the traditional Greek coffee. Prepared fresh, it was served to us piping hot and it tasted amazing. We also ordered a baklava that tasted equally amazing. Must visit...when in Athens.More

After visiting the fish market on Athinas street, we saw this cafe where people were enjoying Greek coffee. We had Greek coffee too. Coffee is prepared and served in a traditional way using a special pot called ibrik. It is cooked on hot sand. The...place is nice and clean but they should also keep the toilets clean.More

This coffee shop/roaster has apparently been around for about 80 years, but it's still completely up to date. The quality of the coffee is top-notch, beautifully roasted; the drinks themselves are expertly made; house-made pastries (especially the semolina cakes) are delicious. I can't recommend this...place highly enough.More
