Our waitress was so kind & very helpful! She was happy to answer all of our questions. Food was delicious & we didn’t wait long at all. Would recommend!

Had a fantastic dinner in the terrace. Food, service, atmosphere was excellent! We will definitely revisit it soon! The welcome snack was actually toasted bread with rose marmalade and delicious spices!

I went for some dinner quite late, just an hour before the place is closed. The waitress was very nice and helpful and translated the menu and explained everything. It was an interesting combination but very tasty. Also, super cheap. Great value for money!!!

The gourmet food experiments are 99% successful! Very pleased every time I eat there. The cooks take very seriously on mind the time-season of products they cook. Also, the greatest homemade lemonade with ginger and very nice alcohol. It always worth the visit !!

but completely worth it! google maps was a little weird about the directions, but after a little wandering we found our way here. while the staff at the time didn’t speak a lot of english, we were able to communicate enough to get some recommendations...and order. they were super friendly and kind, and the food was AMAZING. it’s one of the best places we had in our greece trip. very vegetarian friendly, lovely atmosphere, great food. good luck getting here, it’ll be worth itMore

Choose a sunny day to have your lunch there and go straight for the rooftop (don't get fulled by the size of it when you get inside, there's more!).. Really tasty food, excellent service..

Ate here twice on a trip to Athens with the family. Staff were excellent and on our second visit even gave my son a gift of homemade lemon juice base to make up drinks he loved. Very good food and plenty of it. Lovely atmosphere...on the terrace with lots of plants and rehearsals for a live flamenco performance on our first visit. Fantastic value for money and 4 of us ate for under €30 including drinks. Not really traditional Greek food, but typical Greek hospitality and would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.More

the terrace is beautiful, in 3 days in Athens we went there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, luch is tatsy and affordable (about 6€), dinner is more fancy but still not too expensive (shared a main and a starter and it was...17€ for two), the food is fresh and the menu is inovative and interesting, service is fast and friendly, you get a bottle of tap water for free, I would go back again :)More

I got the vegetarian menu. It was ok, but not very tasty. Also, for the portions you get, it could be a bit cheaper. Staff was polite, the toilets were clean, location is quite easy to find... The atmosphere is quite neutral for me, and...it was a bit cold inside. If they had more vegetarian options and the terrace was open, I might have given them more stars.More

This is an awesome restaurant. I visit it regularly. On weekdays, for 6.20€ you can eat a main course with a salad and a side course. You can choose out of 3-4 choices for each dish. Also, all the dishes are actually quite gourmet in...this cooperative restaurant.More

TL;DR:Lovely ambience. Delicious food. Reasonably priced. We decided to visit this place after reading positive reviews of the place and also we wanted a break from gyros and Greek salad. The entrance is hidden so you need to keep your eyes open. It was quiet...when we visited so we had the whole rooftop to ourselves. We had the 'Bread salad', chicken and pesto pasta. All were very delicious. Their menu is a little limited but we had a good time. 这是一间很不错的餐厅。食物很好吃。 入口有点偏僻, 会很容易错过。More

We walked around the center of Athens and opened tripadvisor by chance. We found bread and roses as one of the top spots to go and grab a bite and we really weren't disappointed. Very good homecooked meals and superfriendly staff that takes their time...to explain. I can absolutely recommend :)More

Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret,
discovered by relatively few international visitors.
Located behind the main University and Polytechnic
buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students,
intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the
area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to
cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the
best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as
