Excellent friendly service. Excellent food and such good value. The anchovies, sardines and mussels were excellent. Excellent value 40£ for starters and mains with 2 carafes of wine. The 4€ salad was enormous! Don’t miss out!

Encouraged by positive opinions on Tripadvisor, we walked to the slightly hidden but in fact conveniently located (near the Omonia metro station) restaurant. We had grilled seabass, grilled octopus, broccoli (particularly liked by our daughter!), french fries, greek salad and some wine. Literally everything was...super tasty, especially the fish! We finished with thick and creamy espresso. They offer their great food in reasonable prices. Genuinely friendly staff was attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Kudos to Stoa Allios!More

We ate here twice on our trip to Athens ,something we rarely do but the seafood was so delicious we wanted to return and try some more of the dishes. The restaurant is situated a bit off the main restaurant area but the food and...service speak for themselves. Everything was good but the mussels with risotto rice were delicious. The prices were very good for both food and wines . Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. It’s definitely worth a visit.More

Lovely unpretentious restaurant near Omonia Square. The food is excellent. Fresh, simple, with clean flavors. Our waiter was the best- very friendly and attentive.

We so looked forward to having a light diner diner here after reading all the reviews. So disappointed. Food was average at best but calamari was big disappointment for my hubby, frozen and served with slice of lemon, perhaps a small side of dip who...have helped. Boston Pizza in Canada serves a much better Calamari at a better price. Located in a sketchy back alley and for 23 eros for small salad, calamari and 1 beer…. Find another place So disappointed, server said the greeks like it that way ?More

We came twice for dinner in this lovely place near the center of Athens. The food’s quality is very high, we only ate fish and it was amazing considering the location (the neighbourhood is not amazing to see neither is the location but that has...nothing to do with the restaurant). We ate three appetisers and two second each and we paid ~25€ each. I strongly recommend to take a sit and enjoy a nice dinner!More

Stopped here on my last evening and I wish I came earlier in my trip so I could go back again. Really tasty food, off the beaten track and really attentive staff who explained the menu very well and gave great recommendations. The décor was...also very nice. If you are after some great food at a great restaurant look no furtherMore

We decided to go to this restaurant after searching for good fish restaurants in Athens. The restaurant was located in an unassuming neighborhood, but don’t let that fool you. We ordered Calamari to start and fried sea bass for main. I can honestly say it’s...some of the best food we’ve ever had, fresh and flavorful. The staff were also extremely attentive and the food was very reasonably priced. If you’re coming to Athens, you have to come here.More

Stoa Allios is literally one of the best taverns in Athens, with delicious food, very warm and clean environment and very friendly staff - it is as if you eat in a familial place and/or at home!!! The fried calamari, fava, sardines, "horta" (salad greens),...in combination with tsipouro, are highly recommended, but actually all seafood is of great quality!! The prices are great as well! It is definitely a must for whoever visits Athens, for an amazing Greek culinary experience!!More
