We came here twice during our 4 night stay. It’s traditional a lovely setting great ambience and great food. We had the specials moussaka and lamb with roast potatoes. The portion of lamb was huge my wife could not finish it. The moussaka was cooked...in a round earthenware pot to keep it piping hot. We also shared an Atitamos salad absolutely delicious well dressed and presented, I had a large beer and shared a half litre of wine litre of water and bread for 35 euro. Good value good food and good service not over attentive but just the right balance and as many have said we were given a small pudding which was free of charge. If you like traditional Greek tavernas then you’ll be more than happy.More

Good selection of traditional Greek options and good portion sizes! We were really surprised when the bill came and it was only €28 between two of us and we were well fed! Recommend the meat balls and the Greek salad. The saganaki was average though....Friendly service and would recommend as a good lunch time spot!More

Fried pork in white wine : ) A great selection of mezze, we tried a lot of options and would recommend them all! Service was casual however we are in a pandemic! Worth the wait for sure And if you aren't persuaded, then they serve...some of the best raki we have ever had! No petrol reflux!More

Dragged my father here for lunch. He was sceptical at first but walked away as a true believer. We split a salad, the delicious feta atitamos, fried courgettes and melitzanosalata. Everything was delicious, but the star was truly the feta atitamos. I had a beer....The total price was just shy of €25, maybe a bit high given location and what we ordered, but we felt the price was completely justifiable given the quality of the meal. Would certainly return.More

Excellent place and ambience, was packed with people all the time. Had the octopus with pasta and it was excellent, plus the complementary dessert was a nice touch!

Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret,
discovered by relatively few international visitors.
Located behind the main University and Polytechnic
buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students,
intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the
area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to
cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the
best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as
