We strongly recommend it! First of all, our young daughter loved its food... Second of all, the prices are very very good... We were fortunate enough to enjoy live music as well! The place was crowded and yet the level of service was very high!

Despite the touristy location and clientele, the restaurant leaves quite the opposite impression. For less then the average price of restaurants in this area, it serves delicious and big portions of traditional Greek food, while you listen to traditional Syrtaki music. The waiters are very...More

The shrimps didn’t taste well and I got sick as a result. Surprised by so many good reviews. The waiters didn’t ask why I left the dishes almost untouched.More

Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a
difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the
Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized
streets surround the remains of both the Greek and
Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is
where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the
tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki
Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street
