Excellent Greek food, cooked well. Great service too. Try lamb marinated in lamb with Cretan risotto and roast potatoes!

We had the most delicious meal here. The restaurant was highly recommended by UK friends who had lived in Athens - and we are now passing that on! The atmosphere was buzzing; full of friendly locals enjoying a meal. Excellent service and very good value....We were able to sit outside during a warm mid-November Wednesday - how perfect for soaking up the full experience. The location is not far from the Panathenaic Stadium, so a good one to link up if you are staying further away (as we were).More

Staying right across the road from this restaurant makes in almost unbearable to listen to the throng of dinner guests every evening enjoying their efood. I had to try it and when I did I realised just how special this place is...vegetable orzo (not on...the English menu) was divine! Rustic sausage and fries recommended by the waiter was full of flavour. So many more dishes to try and thank you for being on my doorstep...a wonderful culinary experience.More

Great food, very friendly service, and great prices. Highly recommend if you’re able to make it. Gets busy all the time it seems, so consider a reservation.

We loved this spot (translation Black Sheep) in a less-touristy area of Athens. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The special roasted lamb dish -- for two -- was incredibly tasty. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was packed on a weeknight...and seemed popular with locals but there were a scattering of tourists.More

We had an amazing lunch here. The food was superb and the portions were generous. The outdoor seating made for a very pleasant experience. From the Greek Salad to the lamb, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Traditional Greek taverna with fantastic food. I had the kleftikos and it was the most delicious pork that I have ever eaten. The prices are ver reasonable and the environment is friendly and warm.

Great dining experience all round !!! The food, staff and ambience were all excellent, plus the price was reasonable. More locals than tourists and more trendy than traditional. We were a large group aged from 15 to 65 and everybody loved it. A must go...to restaurant.More

We visited this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend of a friend. It was quite a walk from our hotel but we had seen the menu and decided to make the journey. Upon arrival, they managed to fit us in despite not making a...reservation and we both decided to order the mussels with some bread and chips on the side. The mussels were stunning and very garlicky which was great for the two of us. We also shared the feta in pastry and another vegetable dish with feta cheese which was divine! The food was very tasty and we decided to return another evening during our trip as the food was so good! On this occasion, we enjoyed the chicken souvlaki which was huge! And the beef which was cooked to perfection as well as a salad and seafood linguine which were both superb. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and atmosphere which was more than reasonably priced and an absolute hidden gem!More

The food, the wine, the service! All just exceptional. We had the Aubergine salad as an appetizer. Although not something I usually like, I am converted. It was delicious. Next, the lamb for two. It was so delicious! I cannot rave enough about this restaurant...tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Our waiter, Lionides, was a gem. Informative and provided great service. That dessert, which we never usually order, was great. We could not pass up as a result of all the earlier dishes that were so good. The ambiance is also great and very affordable. I highly recommend!!!More

What a fantastic restaurant! Great service and delicious food. We sat down and were immediately given a shot of Tsipouro (grappa). Quite tasty and a great start to the meal. We had a number of appetizers with our favorite the orzo (highly recommended by our...friendly waiter). However the grilled cheese and French fries were also tasty. As for entrees, 4 of us went with the lamb (serves 2) with potatoes and rice. The lamb was incredible and apparently cooks for 24 hours. A huge serving. The potatoes roasted with olive oil and rosemary-delicious! Our son had the seafood pasta with shrimp and muscles which was also very good. The staff, attentive and jovial, helped us learn some Greek. We had a shift change during the meal and the outgoing staff made sure to say goodbye. Pricing was reasonable for this fantastic experience.More
