Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and gorgeous traditional Greek food. Just opposite a children's playground so great for the kids. Highly recommend the feta in honey, grilled sausage, shrimps and the octopus!

One of the best restaurant I have been. Service and food (creek salad) were excellent! Restaurant was open till 01.00 and even we arrived around 20 min before closing time, we got warm welcome. 👌

We were at this restaurant yesterday evening and we only have good things to say! The food was delicious, inexpensive and our waitress was so incredibly nice! She even gave us a free drink after out meal! Definitely worth going if you want to try an authentic restaurant in Athens!

We found with TripAdvisor this little tavern in a popular side of Athen. Away from tourists you can eat typic greek cousine in the middle of a class neighborhood. Trees, pedestrian island, public children playground. Lovely and highly recommended

We were the only non-Greeks there as far as I could make out, which was a nice change, as Athens is over run with tourists this time of year! The food is real homely style, try the stuffed onions with mincemeat from western Greece, everything was actually really spot-on. Great, genuine service.

A friend and I stumbled upon this gem close to our Airbnb while staying in Athens. We loved the atmosphere as it is tucked away in a neighborhood and we were the only touristy things there. We ordered the octopus cooked in wine, eggplant spread, and the fried feta with honey and sesame seeds. The feta cheese was incredible and... More

Bread is always complimentary in Greek restaurants, they use top quality products from Greece and you can taste it! The fries for me was the only miss , nice and fresh and portions here are also huge. Everything else was fantastic.

Description
- "To Trikyklo" (tricycle) is a cafeteria- tavern- bar, located next to the park of the Lambrakis hill, at the pedestrian of Pytheou str., in a renovated two-floor stone building of 1931, with its own yard and tables outside, on the pedestrian street in the summer. We are located very close to the Acropolis Museum and the Temple of Zeus. Although outside the tourist area of downtown Athens, we are very close to it on foot. The menu consists of authentic Greek and Mediterranean recipes, prepared with love and creativity. --All Greek (and other) spirits served, are carefully selected!
