Delicious Greek modern style food with amazing value for money. My husband and I were thrilled we chose the 7 course degustation menu and would thoroughly recommend this option. The mushroom risotto and salad with pomegranate were brilliant.

If you are looking for a calm place to discuss and eat and if you would also like tastefull dishes, Trapezaria is a good choice. Ate there two times and will go back, the ingredients are so fresh and of good quality that you feel it in your mouth. Really recommend it

The food was very good, quality and quantity wise. We tried the salmon tartare as starters wich was really fresh and tasty. The rooster with sweet potato puree is a real recommendation. Don't get yourself fooled, the eclair is HUGE (and really yummy). Price - quality is really good, would deffinitely eat here again! (+- 60€ for 2)

The restaurant is slightly off the beaten track but worth a visit. It's a restaurant, not a taverna, and the decor is modern but the service no less friendly. The staff were really helpful in selecting both dishes and wine. The food was delicious and there was lots of it; you won't go home hungry. It was a relaxed, fun... More

Nice food if you are searching for modern Greek cuisine in Athens and the deserts are to die for. Kindly note that the address posted on tripadvisor is the old address. The new address is very simple take the first right after the kalimarmaro stadium and then u can find the restaurant in the third small street on your left.... More

Excellent food. There were two vegetarians in our party and although most of the items on the menu seemed to come with goat or pork or similar, we did very well with mushrooms and pasta. the bread was delicious, the wine very reasonable and the chocolate afters were great. Beware that one taxi driver insisted that we'd given him an... More

We visited the restaurant for dinner. Nice atmosphere, reservation is needed as it is relative small. The menu was not very long but adequate with nice choices rather different from what you usually see in a wine restaurant. A sommelier helped us with the wine selection and the waiters were very polite. Desserts - home made- were enourmous and quite... More

Staying in Pangrati

Neighborhood Profile
The elongated Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, acts as grand gateway to the otherwise purely Athenian neighborhood of Pangrati. This area of typical small squares, busy main roads and residential streets will give you a clear sense of what living in this metropolis is like. A walk up quiet Markou Mousourou Street on the west side of the stadium will bring you past the First National Cemetery to Mets, home to many expats. Turn right to reach the charming Platia Varnava. East of the stadium, commercial Eratosthenous Street leads to rather nondescript Platia Plastira, from where Effranoros Street continues uphill to Platia Profiti Ilia, crowned by a huge church. Among the standard four- to six-story apartment blocks that typify Athens, Pangrati also boasts some genuinely authentic tavernas and the odd trendy bar.
