Great non-Greek option in a central location. Serves a variety of international dishes - Middle East, Mexican, Thai etc. Good prices too. Won't go wrong with this choice.

My only regret vis a vis Mama Roux is that I didn't get a chance to come back here a second time and try everything else on the menu! Great place a health and very tastey lunch in town.

In my 2 years of living in Athens, I've discovered that hot breakfast and especially brunch are not done often. This was a good surprise and the food was actually legit! I had a feta/tomato omelette and a breakfast burrito, both of which were good. My wife enjoyed her pancakes with Nutella and the people sitting next to me had... More

A member of the staff at my hotel suggested I stop here for lunch. It has a great menu composed of a broad variety of ethnic cuisines. The service is excellent and attentive and the food is tasty. I have eaten here twice in the last week. The choices are so varied that it is hard to make a decision!

We came across this place while looking for Mexican in Athens, not only does it have a great selection of Mexican favourites it also has burgers, noodles and salads. Great for vegetarians and prices are less than any of the tourist places, a must go!

A hip fusion restaurant which combines flavours from all over the world. Nice beer variety ( greek micro breweries ), very good food, especially the anatolian style and nice decoration. A must go!

Visited with a friend, totally missed this place on my last trip which is a shame because we both enjoyed our food immensely. Extremely helpful staff, good portions, well presented and we felt it was reasonably priced.

Thank Oliver R

Staying in Monastiraki

Neighborhood Profile
Monastiraki is a souvenir-hunting enclave with a difference. Apart from the dramatic backdrop of the Acropolis, its network of alleys and pedestrianized streets surround the remains of both the Greek and Roman agoras, adding the quaint concept that this is where the ancients also came to shop. Named after the tiny monastery church at its center, Monastiraki Square is a lively spot by day or night, with street peddlers vying for your attention to sell you nuts and sweets. Down beside the metro station, the official Flea Market is an unbroken row of souvenir shops until you come to antique-oriented Platia Avissinias, while Pandrossou Street on the other side of the square offers more tourist shopping. The pedestrianized street beside the Greek Agora is lined with cafés offering fine views.
