We saw this restaurant on our way to the meeting and divided to check it for dinner. We were not disappointed. Everything that we ordered (except for the desert) was very tasty and not so hot. The potato with eggplant was fantastic. Prices are reasonable.

I've been to Indian Kitchen this month. It is located in the center of Athens, very easy to find. The restaurant is very clean and minimal. The food was amazing! Every thing we ordered was very tasty. Finally the pricing was absolutely fair. Highly recommended!

The stuff is friendly, the environment is clean and cosy, the meals are well cooked and served in logical time but in an expensive way as it is targeted to the tourist people! I think that the beverages should be a little bit cheaper as you cannot have them in quantity and it is disatppointing for the customers that want... More

Very nice Indian restaurant in the heart of Athens, 2 minutes walk from Syntagma square. The personnel is very friendly and the food is good for those who like this kind of kitchen.

More traditional decor than the neighboring Babajis restaurant- the food here is marginally better but pricier. A good option for a near authentic Indian experience - the raitas need improvement though.

Tasty Indian food. Was not oily or too spicy yet full of flavour. The service was good and we sat outside. We ate saag planner , raita and butter chicken with garlic naan.

Flavourful dining with an open and see through kitchen. The preparations are worth a watch and the dishes are more than worth the wait. The onion and chilli naan, tandoori roti, matar paneer, yellow dal are sure to titillate the taste buds and leave you craving for more.

I have been twice in a week tasting different dishes, it was pretty much all very tasty. The check was between 20/30 euros with good size portions. The tandori chicken was moist, which is a quality not usually found in most places of its kind. The service was very kind and effective. If in the center with a desire of... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
