I love this place so much, only thing one can complain about is service. Place is always really busy and it seems they need more staff. Last time I went it was packed and waiter was obviously nervous. On the other hand everything I tried...here was awesome, cake is amazing and coffee is fairly good.More

Ordered the sheep yogurt with walnuts and honey. I’m not sure if I actually got that or got the traditional yogurt. It was good yogurt but nothing mind blowing. Their WiFi wasn’t working so I couldn’t pay with card

My fiancé and I came here for breakfast on the final morning of our athens trip. I was a bit dubious, thinking that yoghurt wouldn't fill me, or that I may not like it. I was totally wrong! We both hot the yoghurt, honey and...nuts, along with an OJ and coffee and it was absolutely delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised and would definitely have gone back if we were staying longer. A hidden gem.More

The yogurt and rice pudding are delicious and my husband raved about the spinach and cheese pie. We had it twice in 4 days. Seating is outside and not the nicest so we sat once and took away the sconce time. Didn’t have the pastries...but they looked amazing. Apparently one if the last dairy stores in Athens.More

We enjoyed the delicious yoghurt (from sheep) with honey and their temptily looking Millefeuille (Milfey). Both very delicious. We went back again for more - and bought some yoghurt the morning before our flight back to Frankfurt,

We had the most fabulous treat at Stani. They called it "cream and honey". It is a classic Greek desert. There are very few places in Greece that serve it, let alone make it. This is one of the oldest creameries in Athens. They also...make hot fresh doughnuts and other goodies. It is a must. It is hidden in an area of Omonoia.More

I am in Greece often for business and I always recommend Stani to colleagues. I always have the yogurt with honey and walnuts. On this visit, the yogurt seems to have changed. It was not thick and had more of a soft pudding consistency. The...price increased (understandably in this economy), the portion was significantly less and the taste did not have the characteristic tanginess. I don't mind paying more for quality but this level is equally obtained at my hotel's breakfast buffet. I'm not sure if they are pulling a switch-a-roo for tourists, assuming we would not know the difference, or if they are cutting corners to increase profit. In any case, it's my last visit.More

We got there just 15 minutes before they closed, had a lovely tablet outside and enjoyed their yogurt (slathered with honey, worthy of its praise), chewy ice cream (not our favorite), a mille-feuille which was surrounded by pastry cream, rice pudding (which our guide had...recommended), a plate of thickened cream which was like rice pudding without the rice, and a piece of chocolate cake. It was all delicious and really fun.More

Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is
