We were in the restaurant Old Ithaki on March 2nd. It was my birthday and my husband and I wanted to celebrate it with good food. it did not happened: the food was terrible and overpriced. When I complained to the manager Irena she did...not really cared: they got our money who cares about reputation and guests satisfaction? But it is not supposed to be like that: reputation is important! Next day we asked advice from the staff in our hotel "Palladian Home" and they recommended us Estia restaurant at Plaka: delicious food and reasonable prices.More

We were a group of 10 people, the food was terrible the only thing that's edible is the bread and greek salad. DO NOT TRY THE MEAT, better to not even enter from the first place.

Beware tourist rip off place; run by bunch of crooks. Had a late lunch here with my family of six people on a Saturday and I thought we were treated nicely by this women who seemed to be the owner of this place at first....The food was ok not bad, but nothing special. We ordered mostly appetizers and two main dishes in the middle which was spaghetti with shrimps. Also ordered some house wine which they mentioned it was “happy hour” At the end the bill came out to be 250€ I was so surprised because most of the nice places we have been to we paid 70-80€ with the same group. Nothing special was here. We asked for bread and they asked garlic bread or pita. We said a little bit of both. Later I realized they have charged 2,5€ per pita and garlic bread per person 5€ each. The rest you can imagine. I didn’t say anything paid the bill and left. But I thought I should write a review and at least warn other people about this. They are bunch of crooks so don’t go there especially if you are not from Greece..More

Walked in for drinks and lunch after arriving on an overnight flight. The service was polite and helpful, and the food which included grilled fish and local favourites, was delicious. Cold beer and delightful local white wine enjoyed al fresco, made it memorable.

A delightful restaurant in a great location. Live music and good food. We sat outdoors and the service was good. We had dinner there for 2 nights. Prawns were disappointing - bland and hard/chewy. Vegetarian options were good.

My husband and I went to this restaurant. The food was very good and the service good. The food is Greek traditional. They encourage people to take their time eating as do most of Europe from our experience. They had live music which enhanced our...dining experience. The restaurant was easy to find. We had seafood and it was done to perfection. We went to the restaurant twice during our stay in Athens and both times we were pleased.More

After ordering 6 different veggie dishes concluded that all of them were atrocious. Can’t knock the staff/atmosphere - shame about the meal esp as prices are extortionate.
