Very friendly staff and original salad. I love the herb salad with dill, figs and a variety of lettuces. Not far off the main square.

The food is good. The raw vegan sweet even better! But the place is very small and usually is full and the waiters are trying to push you to finish earlier so give your sit to the next one. Is also very expencive for what it offers. And betweet one year I notice big rice in the menu.

Great place to have great meatless dishes. Myself I didn't like the avocado burger, liked everything else, my wife the did like it, a matter of taste I think. Advised to try out the ice tea when available.

Avocado is a great place to go if you are vegan or vegetarian or just want a healthy alternative. The menu is extensive and the food was very tasty. Prices are very good as well.

My wife and I have been staying in Athens for 6 days and we have eaten here every night. The choice of food is vast and I have had something different each night and enjoyed it all. The service is excellent and they are always happy to advise if you want. I have eaten in many vegetarian restaurants around the... More

The food is excellent, the service is, if such a thing is possible, even better. Although the cuisine is vegetarian and vegan, when I have students in Athens, it's difficult to convince even the omnivores to eat anywhere else.

What a wonderful place to have vegetarian meals. A great atmosphere and service. The avocado burger was very tasty and also the ice cream and the coffee. Highly recommended.

We went here couple times while visiting Athens. Dahl soup and Avocado’s Burger are something you definitively need to try there because it will give you enough straighten to keep on sightseeing. Staff was excellent and food came quickly.

Avocado has one of the best vegetarian menus i have seen in a while: very diverse, combination of ingredients is not obvious but works wonderfully, a lot of different choices. It was hard to settle for only 1 main!

Thank Ines M

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
